Think that only applies if you dont stay in Singapore and you stay in Johor in your own owned house there but work in Singapore. So yup your car should be out of Singapore for 6 hours (go back and sleep mah :-) ) every day ....

Wonder if there's any other way ...

Try to look for a car with 3-4 years left on the COE , hopefully by then many cars will deregister and COE will go down to an acceptable level. Also try to look for a car with higher paper value (etc. OMV) so that you get more back when u deregister at the end of 10 years.

Hi all, need some advice here...

I got a call from recruiter of an opening and thinking to try it out. For an interview I know it is required to bring along all required documents such as certs and testimonials, however if I'm required to attend an interview with short notice, is it okay for me to attend interview without supporting documents? I left all my original documents in hometown...

Thanks in advance.

If going back to hometown would take much time, then you arrange the time with interviewer, take leave go back home and straight go for the interview.

Not wise to go interview w/o documents but you can try.

I'm an IT fresh graduate (software engineering). My salary is 2.5k. I think my salary islower than other fresh graduates. One of my friends managed to get a 3.1k job. Fyi, my technical/practical knowledge is better than her. On the other hand, her academic result is better than mine.

I have 2 questions:

1. Does anyone know the current average salary for an IT fresh graduate?
2. Is it appropriate to ask my company for $500 salary increment? So that, I am qualified for ep application.

Thanks in advance.

You and your friend are in the same company ?
If not, how you compare your company pay grade to other company ?
Just curious. nod.gif
