Im thinkingof getting the INSPIRON 15R special edition, the i7+FHD screen type with add on of backlight keyboard... After the Z0X576K3W513S? Discount, it is about RM3k.

Just want to confirm, anyone using this type of spec got any problems(BSOD, HD noise, heat prolem, etc) ?

Any other related suggestion/input is welcome smile.gif

Anybody heard of WiDi (intel wireless display) before?
Can you lead me to which part of the forum that discusses this (& where to buy the adapters?)
Thanks

How do you find it then? I am ordering a 15R SE with FHD next week and I use an external keyboard as well.

Added on July 30, 2012, 8:03 pmI want to order 15R SE (RM3199 version) with backlit KB and 3 years warranty.

May I know is it cheaper if I buy thru dell chat or direct order using the coupon? I notice direct order myself doesn't have free backpack too.

well, I find it tiring my eyes after a while, mainly because of the extra distance imposed by the external keyboard and the sharp and small text on the FHD screen. Of course you may say that we can always zoom in for reading but that doesn't looks nice, isn't it? Now I'm having a thought on getting an external monitor for my laptop, but then I would be questioning myself why getting a laptop at the first place then, haha sweat.gif

But for normal usage without external keyboard, the screen should look crisp and awesome right. I use mostly for multimedia so the screen must be good, have to sacrifice for that haha

Why dont you reduce the resolution a bit... At least when you are doing long hours of typing...

Also, do have any BSOD problem?
Does your system detect AMD 7730M as the main GPU in your dxdiag?

I actually did what you guys mentioned, but I still not comfortable with the extra distance after putting in an external keyboard blush.gif I guess an external monitor is really what I needed doh.gif of course this is not to say the laptop screen is no good, it is awesome for normal usage thumbup.gif
