anyone here pair an external keyboard with the FHD 15R? do you find it strain your eyes after sometime (due to the distance added with the external keyboard)?

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Jul 30 2012, 03:08 PM) How do you find it then? I am ordering a 15R SE with FHD next week and I use an external keyboard as well. well, I find it tiring my eyes after a while, mainly because of the extra distance imposed by the external keyboard and the sharp and small text on the FHD screen. Of course you may say that we can always zoom in for reading but that doesn't looks nice, isn't it? Now I'm having a thought on getting an external monitor for my laptop, but then I would be questioning myself why getting a laptop at the first place then, haha |

QUOTE(huss5445 @ Jul 31 2012, 05:48 AM) Why dont you reduce the resolution a bit... At least when you are doing long hours of typing... Also, do have any BSOD problem? Does your system detect AMD 7730M as the main GPU in your dxdiag? QUOTE(yscsiew @ Jul 31 2012, 08:47 AM) I actually did what you guys mentioned, but I still not comfortable with the extra distance after putting in an external keyboard |
