Went to Puchong and Glenmarie Peugeot show room for 408 and was told that Grey and Bronze colour has discontinued. Why?

jfcheong, 790.1 is the distance travelled since last service. 798 is your total odometer for total distance travelled since the car hit the road.

I saw a fan comments at Peugeot Facebook stated chassis number printed behind the front light (408 model). Is that true? All current owner please share your thought.

Welcome welcome, do share your 408 with us...

Actually its just my 2nd day of roaring! Am still impressed with the smooth burst of power and gear transition now since my test drive back at glenmarie few weeks ago but I must admit 408t slurps up the fuel pretty quickly.. again like most I m also heavy footed.
Found some minor rattling coming from the back, haven't determine its origin yet. Guess need to rectify during the 2.5k inspection service. Apart from some minor alignment on the siren box panel and rattling I don't really have much to complain. One thing though.. the glove compartment is absolutely massive... one can probably store two standard size soda cans in there, btw the cans should be on the upright position... u guys should know what I mean doh.gif

No, not the central screen. I mean the small screen below the speedometer. There are two odometer showed on it. But my both odometer are different.

Someone posted the same thing in this forum too. Anyone could verify this and how will it affect our warranty claim?

I found that few users have commented on rattling sound including me. Maybe driving the car is awesome enough that we tend to see it as a minor issue. But this is quality issue and shouldn't go unaddressed especially so since it occurs on brand new cars. I strongly believe this issue has to do with Nasim's installation plant in Kedah. Let us forward this issue to Nasim's management so that current and future owners will be taken care of. If no feedback given, they'll assume that their installation quality is good enough.

Anyway, I went to their FB to complain and they give me this email to forward my complain to; clic@naza.com.my. So feel free to complain guys wink.gif

I think this is just a Pug basher. Why would the chassis number be printed on the light and not on the chassis. It is infact illegal not to have proper chassis identification on the chassis. I would treat this with a pinch of salt!
Unfortunately there are quite a few useless idiots on the net, perhaps jealous of our fantastic PuG!

Hehehe......you're a smart devil. 2 litre 110k so 1.6 cheaper la.....hehehe! You are making the right choice. Civic is overpriced under performing state of art crap!

I have a Dr. friend who never fails to boast about his 1.8 Civic. After I got my Pug,took him for a ride. Took one of the bends at high seed to show off the road holding. I think he shit in his pants la, the car stuck to the road like a lizard on a vertical wall. That zipped him up for good!

it is actually behind the headlamp, on the metal part which is a part of the chassis. i had a look BUT... i was also told that they also have it in several other places which will not be divulged as those locations are considered security information. like you, i'll take the guys post with a pinch of salt. wondering if he just wanna kacau or genuinely want to buy. pretty sure the authorities wont approve the car during type approval application if they find things amiss regarding such an important thing like a chassis number.

As planned, wife & i went to confirm 408 just now but saleslady revealed those prices to my wife and also claim 2.0 for comfort with soft suspension & lighter steering wheel. And since i am buying the car for her, we end up with 408 2.0 doh.gif

Unlike paultan review that biased to 1.6thp (imho biased bcoz u cant compare the two, its totally different car), the following review comforts me yeahuuu rclxm9.gif

Actually before I confirm this car, I aimed for family car. After view on Paultan review, understand that 2.0 is more to comfort and 1.6 more to naughty. I was struggling on that, rclxub.gif not sure which spec to go.
The next day I went for a test drive, both variants. Then~~~ I kena poison by the Turbo sweat.gif

Just noted that, the link above. The interior pic that posted is belongs to 1.6T variant
