Since the 408 is CKD and produced locally, i dont think stock delivery should be an issue - havent heard anyone complain so far on delivery for the 408.

Guys, the Gurun assembly plant produces the 408 for the whole of ASEAN. 50 units were assembled for Malaysia this time. If all 50 are taken up,the next batch will take 2 months. So better make your bookings right away and hope all 50 have not been taken already!

Added on July 30, 2012, 9:32 amAm thinking of changing from 225/45R17 to 225/55R17,purely for comfort. Want to keep to the original 17"rim cos they look good. Low profiles are rather uncomfortable. Have reduced tyre pressure to 2.5 bar, only slight difference in comfort. Am willing to compromise on handling.Handling on this car is at a very high standard, but I don't use to it maximum. So would prefer a less bouncy ride at high speeds.
Wondering if the ECU can be adjusted to cater for the larger beed so that all input signals are proper.

is the 408T meant to be drive hard? biggrin.gif got my 408T and it seem driving leisurely a bit not comfortable biggrin.gif coz i think it seem to hold the shift a bit longer thus quite noisy before it changing gear as i am driving SO casual....after driving this for 2 weeks and just yesterday drive back my T brand, really HUGE different of the steering weight...now i think my T power steering is extremely light tongue.gif

one stupid question, hpw do i know the turbo is working beside pedal to the metal, even a normal car do give a burst feel when pedal to the metal???? rclxub.gif biggrin.gif

Are you using the S button cause hold the shift a bit longer? Try to press the snow button beside the gear. It may be more smoother.

Nope. All contis are like that ... unless u restart your car within a short time, the recirculate button will be switched off by default
*
For the 407, the status of that button is 'memorized'. so if you choose to recirculate the air, after u restart the car, the recirculate button will stay ON and vice versa, unless you turn off the aircon....i think if you do that, it resets to auto mode...but i never switch off the aircon so its always the same before and after i turn the engine on. for the c-class, the recirculate button always goes back to OFF after you restart the engine. so i guess it depends what the manufacturer thinks is best for their customers smile.gif

hi guys, juz got my 408 1.6 tb 2 days ago. So far safe n sound on their mechanism vice . all button & settings mode functions good as well. I got my window tinted raytech cs-85 price of rm2000 include free sunshade for side window & crystal number plate. In Addition, FYI i hav asked de installation of peugeot OEM DVD touchscrren panel include of GPS & reverse camera,it cost rm3800. well, for those like body skirting, i heard SA saying he has fren brought in , still unsure of price =) i kinda interest as de rear exterior 408 looks not gutsy, doesnt like their shrink curve at back.

HOwever i was aware that few issue arise. UNsure other Pugs owner whether have it experience on ur car or not.

1) there are stains on my wheel rim, i unsure whether it was cause by brake oil leaking. HAve to inquire my SA.

2) radio fm channel sound was not solid ( haha, mayb earlier my car was with JBL audio system , now china made audio system) , unsure is the signal reception prob or what cause. i have try lower their bass n center their treble. BUt seems not much diff

JUs to share my opinion here, no malice =D

Woah! I second this. If the branch is providing warranty for the DVD+GPS+Reverse Cam, it will make this one of the best spec car in the C-segment. Pls PM the branch you bought it from as well.

Now if can top-up a bit for Xenon+DRL+Push Start, it can even rival Passat (CKD) price at RM170k~. Of course, Passat offer more tech but do you really need all that? And, we talking RM30K - 40K difference as well...and different segment.

Btw guys, full tank for 408T is how much, and for the early takers, what's the FC like and your %ratio for HW/City driving...

Ooh tot you so daring install 1st and be a leader for us to follow biggrin.gif If DVD and GPS, probably easier to add and remove. But reverse cam needs additional wiring to the back, can be tricky. Hmmm...guess we go back to square one again cry.gif

Ahhh...noted. Your aftermarket Mr. Kautim for you everything shop. In this case, better not try. RM126 product cannot pakai, with a very sad heart, throw away lor tongue.gif RM126K with warranty issue later, better not try or later you cry.gif

You want better performance, RON97...RON95 for lesser performance in car, more performance in pocket.

Just checking, anyone in the forum using RON95? Full tank how much? Any major noticeable performance issue with RON95?

Ron95 for full tank when left ard 70km as shown on the meter is rm97. So far clocked 480-490km after 2 refill. 70%highway 30% slow moving.
Acceleration and reaching 180km/h is very addictive......

Added on July 30, 2012, 9:46 pmI think I better don do anything for now except sirraglow...booked with mr choong already. White color is really hard to maintain... sad.gif
