Just send a simple email asking the status of your application... but don't put much hope they will reply... interviewer loves to keep us in the dark "forever".

This is so true. Forever and ever.

I see less jobs posting in Jobstreet recently. Probably because employees now waiting for year end bonus before leave?

hi everyone
I have been offered a job and the HR has confirmed with me that my commencement date will be 1 november 2011. However, the HR never provide me a letter of appointment. So I called them, the HR manager said she will ask her colleague to call me once the offer letter is ready but I nver receive a call from them yet. The other day I emailed her and she confirmed with me that I will commence my work on 1st nov, without mentioning about the offer letter. So I wonder if the offer letter is important or is it normal we get the letter once start working?

Just a quick question..

Do we need to include cover letter on top of your resume during the interview day itself?

Thx!

If you put on make up until you look like female then you give the impression that you are queer/"a-kua".

fcuk,
In my opinion you did not get the job. Dont call them as they will regard it as unnecessary interruption.
