just to share, personally when i am interviewing others, i love to see the face expression and expect calmness when i ask  these questions e.g.:

1. if your current boss provide u a blank cheque and ask u to fill in any numbers just to get hold of u, what would u do?

2. what u think about urself? what do other think about u?

3. our company might not be able to pay u as high in $$$$, but maybe can fit into your requirement to have a challenging environment and guaranteed progressing path. Would u be interested by then?

4. why shall i pay u that amount u requested? brief me.......

Any of you came across such question and how u reacted?  hmm.gif

I think most company will mention the 3rd question..."we are different...we can offer more...bla..bla..bla,.." but with less money? who would be interested? i have been trough the trouble...changed company...for so called "more challenging" role... well...i would say...not worth it! end of the day...is all about money.

For the 4th question.... it depends how much increase from current salary... if just 10% increment... i would say...."how much you think is reasonable to you"? if asking for 30% increment...then have to explain more. I have seen some arrogant manager who act like they own the company....try to find the cheap guy to do his extra work.... unless that person is jobless....he won't be interested to work under an arrogant manager.

Just send a simple email asking the status of your application... but don't put much hope they will reply... interviewer loves to keep us in the dark "forever".

yes... last time i gv them the copy of my cert, pay slip, photo.... everything...waited 1 hour at the lobby...interview started they dun introduce themselves...no idea who i'm talking to... in the end... one simple email also they won't reply me.

as if we go there to feed them with information. now smart already... no more copy of payslip... no photo.. they don't want to hire... so be it.
