Mine is wet too, after used. (don't think dirty).

Open it and let it air dry, if you planned to vacuum it.

If it's wet, could it be that humidity is high around the laundry area. Remember that condenser works like AC compressor also. It condenses the hot air to have the excess moisture removed whilst recycling the heat to dry the clothes.

Plan to buy combo washer dryer. Any recommended model or brand?
*
If space is not an issue, please get the split units (washer and dryer separated).
1. For combo, if the unit spoiled you will not be able to wash or dry your clothes at all
2. If you get a 8KG wash/dryer combo, it means you can wash 8KG of clothes but may not mean you can dry them all at once. They usually stated 8KG/5KG, mean wash 8KG and can dry 5KG load. So you may need to remove some of your load before drying cycle start (unless you always wash at 5KG load)

The good side for the combo
1. save space
2. save hassle to move clothes from washer to dryer

Which uses least energy? Heat pump, or condenser?

Heat pump, hence the higher price tags.

It's fine. The electricity savings from heat pump vs condenser probably can't break even with the extra amount you paid for heat pump. Maybe not before the machine spoiled.

Unless you're all for greener environment.

Hey guys I just got myself a Samsung washer dryer https://www.lazada.com.my/products/samsung-...s112064399.html

Under synthetic run the wash only function takes about 2 hours ish. At one time my wash and dry went up to 5 hours. Is this normal? Much longer than my old top loader

Normal. Use the timer function. That adds convenience.

Hi everyone, I bought electrolux dryer EDV6051 in OCtober 2016 and a week ago it suddenly wont turn on. I called electrolux service and they said since i bought the unit overseas (Thailand) they dont cover the warranty so I have to pay rm100 for service charge + whatever spareparts required.

Should i stick to electrolux service or find cheaper option (since no longer under warranty)?

appreciate response. thanks

Hi,

I'm looking at this model Electrolux EWF 12033 10kg washer &
EDH3497RDW 9kg heat pump dryer

Any review on this products?
I'm planning to stack dryer on washer using either of the following

1. stacking kit
2. concrete top
3. plywood cabinet

I'm not sure if stacking kit can support the weight of this dryer though. Which option is better? Can anyone share your experience?

Thanks
