Guys , any recommendation for hotels or resorts or apartment that's low-budget and its near a beach in cenang ?

and where to get the cheapest alcohol in langkawi except from the big supermarket like the one beside underwater world ?

lol go relax lor, drink lor, go sunset cruise..etc...hahaha coz the cost to go langkawi is not high if able to book zero fare from AA biggrin.gif

the only new place i explore during this year;s trip is the 6D cinema lor..haha...

they are plenty of chalet / motels / resorts along cenang..can actually walk in to ask if you go there during non peak period...

can try to go Billion. slightly cheaper..or Kuah town

Are those car rental service booths at airport will still be operating???

I will need to rent a car to head to my hotel.

As long as there are flights coming in, there will be a few still lingering around. It will be slightly higher priced though, depending on how many operators are there. Worse comes to worse, take a taxi to your hotel first lorrr. Rent the car the next day! icon_rolleyes.gif

He will arrange for you to get the at the airport and when returning just drop if off at the airport (give him a call before dropping back)

I rented Avanza MPV , fits 7 big fat adults with the booze as well only Rm100 for 1 day.


Please do read a few pages back instead of asking questions . Some of those questions has already been answered

I am planning to go Langkawi by ferry and I am planning to bring some fireworks for celebration purposes. Will there be any checking or screening by the customs or other authorities?

Nope, even 1 person also Rm 25 per pax. No minimum head count.

For chocolates & alcohol, I think cheapest will be in Kuan town, Billion supermarket. (Just my opinion) smile.gif

a lot of scooters instead of l in langkawi.. can easily be found at chenang area..
