Requirement : not far from the beach (maybe 5-10mins walk) + near a shop to buy booze

Either drive to kedah / penang take ferry or flight.

Just got back from langkawi and it's awesome but not as best as hatyai

For car rental I suggest this fella , recommend by other people also

He is damn on time , just tell him when you're boarding the plane / ferry , and he will be there waiting for you to handover the car.

We rented Avanza for RM100 per day . Then just inform him when you're about to leave and he will come and take the car from you at the airport.

Call this guy ~~ Avanza MPV , fits 7 big fat adults with the booze as well .

He will arrange for you to get the at the airport and when returning just drop if off at the airport (give him a call before dropping back)

only Rm100 for 1 day.

We arrived at the air port around 2pm Friday and left around 1pm . So you can say we had the car for 48hours.

Remember to pour enough fuel as when they give you the car , it's only enough to go to the nearest petrol station .

There is only 1 24hours petrol station near airport

If you don't mind I can intro you the place I stayed , got 2 rooms and enough space for 7 people to sleep (some with extra mattress)

We got the Apartment-Family for roughly RM700 for 2 nights for 7 adults .

Including was the breakfast which is the usual american breakfast , got noodles/ mee hoon / egg / baked beans / hotdogs / cereal / bread

Food wise got 2 good place , later post pic
