Just got back from Tioman, and eager to go on another island getaway! Would appreciate advice on:

1. What's the best hotel for budget of RM100/night?
2. How easy is it to get around, i.e. from Pantai Cenang area to Kuah?

cool. well actually, looking for it is easy. but, finding the 'right' one is the hard part. you may choose one you think you like but when you go there you will feel disappointed. I don't like that for my first time that's why I ask here recommendations because I will have an idea what will I expect.

Anyone here can suggest me an itinerary for 5 nights at Langkawi? 
Will travel on Feb 18 till Feb 23, 2013.

I would prefer to stay in RM200 below for the 1st day (afraid of flight delay) and last day (flight schedule to take off at 1pm) and would love to stay in any of 5star hotel the rest of 3 days with budget of RM800+-.

Just back from there - 4 days 3 nights (13th-16th)

Summary :
3. Shopping along Pantai Cenang and Kuah Town (surprisingly the cheapest is the Zon for Hoegarden RM3.70, Glenfiddich at Coco valley Cenang RM85) Plus point

Between Andaman (room only) and Meritus (room + brekkie), which is better? Plan to indulge a bit on my final night in langkawi, budget around 500+..
Or any other suggestions?

Yes i plan do the walking and sightseeing in first 3 days. Last day just stay in hotel relax.
Will stay in cenang area for first 2 nites.
I also think Andaman better but my waifu like hotel buffet breakfast.... If add breakfast in Andaman will over budget >.<

I not yet book but found a few places around 150/nite.....
We like hotel brekkie is the feel where we wake up, take our time and go down to restaurant and eat to our desire, the variety, the atmosphere and all... Especially in 5 star rainforest resort... Its better than need to get dressed, drive out, eat, and come back...
Tats y still thinking Andaman 500+ but no brekkie... If brekkie included then is no brainer liao....

Just came back from our 3days 2night Langkawi trip.
Only been total places of interest,the most unlucky thing is very hard to look for food...our first meal in Langkawi is inside the airport.... @@

I didnt go there. only go Perdana Quay and Langkawi Cable Car @@
