This is what I did to save fuel during my daily ride:
I drive normally when the traffic is normal. Upon approaching places where the traffic is normally crawling, as early as possible I would slightly press the brake pedal to charge the battery. In the crawling traffic I would drive gently to stay in EV mode.

The key is to charge the battery as high as possible before approaching a crawling traffic. You can charge the battery quicker by slighly pressing the brake earlier or by accelerating between the eco mark and the power mark.

WOw, official top speed is about 170km/h, you all go up to 175km/h notworthy.gif

Love this car, max I drove was 160km/h, and still as stable as driving at 100km/h, just the wind sound is louder (wind sound really depend on weather as well). My gf said won't feel I speeding even I drive at 150++km/h.

I believe it can speed till 180-200km/h, just it may loss it stability, so better don't.

When I drive in 160km/h I still only half the pedal or less... No even reach the power range.
So if no ECU limit, sure can reach over 180km/h.

Yaya, The odometer max is 199km/h, but if modified the car with turbo & etc, then we need external odometer show the extra digit laugh.gif

You are right. Even at 100km/hr, I find it difficult to control the car when applying emergency brake. I have stopped speeding since I settled 7 tickets (with 30% discount) several years ago. Nowaday, I only drive at 90 - 100 km/hr. No more ticket since then.

I think our PC bros are just curious to find out how fast can it go :-). Personally, I won't try because you guys have tried it and I trust what your claims and also too afraid to even run up to that kinda speed. shocking.gif

I haven't got my PC yet.
Driving my 11 yrs old Wira, I didn't feel proud too taking over BMW or Mercedes.
I do feel proud when my FC can still reach 13km/l. Compare with my friend's FC of 9km/l only, i can go 4 km longer every liter, which means i can go extra 160km per tank. Considering we pump full tank every week, then I can got extra 8320km every year (which also mean I save RM1756). On this I feel proud then. hehe...

Not bad to get 13km/l, considering the car age and value around 10k. That is probably the depreciation for our PC for the 1st year

Running at 150km/h is very dangerous when the car in front suddenly stop or slow down.

Even 80kmh is already very dangerous if you hit a brick wall. The problem is not the speed but the condition, aeroplanes travel at a much faster speed but not all of them come crashing down to earth.

I'm not saying that people should speed but speeding alone is not that bad. On the Autobahn in Germany, 150-160kmh is the normal speed people drive there. Doing above 180 kmh is like people driving above 130kmh here.

Since I drive through hilly road everyday, my battery always get full charged when going down hill. After that I can cruise at 64-66km/h in EV for quite a while maybe around 4-5km if I drive politely. I did not use ECO or EV mode. Just normal mode. I feel nice to be able to get to use the energy stored when going down hill.

Current FC shown is 20.2km/l. My current Alza is around 11.6km/l. Well there is some small savings I guess.

Road tax is RM90/year. You can apply for free parking in PJ for 6months, if purchased in PJ. No other benefit
