You can easily bypass the block by changing your DNS setting away from those hosted by TM.
On your devise or PC, change to Google hosted DNS at 8.8.8.8 and no website would be blocked.

Just send my white PriusC for first free inspection at 1k.  Based on UMW normal schedule for regular vehicles, we have to fork out more money to change engine oil and filter.
Actually hybrid vehicle uses the petrol engine about half the time.  The PriusC manual as well as USA site recommend change at 10k.
*
I thought Prius C maintenance is 10K interval? that was what UMW SA told me.

The recommended engine oil is 0W-20 synthetic for Prius, so I guess Prius C also need to be at the same level.

i havent really did a 0-100, but driving it around, i dont think it can make that figure (with my way of driving).
it does get from 10 to 50 fairly quick, but it really runs out of breath after 90, in my experience. before i ordered, i have also seen various sites quoting around 11.5s

will record a 0-100 after my 1st service is done la.
*
0-100KM/h in 10.7sec is only achievable by turning off air-cond, econ and with enough battery charge, for normal driving, it is around 12 seconds, some Taiwan's website have tested it.

the old myvi has tons of space.

for the new myvi, the inside space is comparable to prius c, although i feel prius c is slightly more spacious maybe cos its seats arent as high as the myvi.
in other words the utility car is used for chores

the nicer car is use for social la
*
I saw a Prius C on Wednesday night with the new Myvi side by side, The Prius C is wider and longer than Myvi by just looking at it.
Even in the spec, Prius C is bigger than Myvi, Prius C dimension is almost same as Vios except the length which is 30cm shorter (smaller boot size)

i doubt very much it can go that fast. internet sources mention about the 160+ mark.
*
Actually I don't understand why people want to drive above 120KM/H ? want to go directly to heaven? most people don't understand, the faster the speed, the higher kinetic energy you gonna get, imagine if you're driving 160KM/h, it is equivalent as jumping from 100m height tower with carrying 1 ton of payload, anything that you can't control, it is like your parachute won't open, so you can imagine what is the consequence.

As heard from some SA, 50% depreciation once you buy it as hybrid still new in Malasia.
I wish it is 50% depreciation...

Prius 2010 still selling 118K in www.mudah.my, if 50% depreciation, it will be 70K, than I will get the second hand one, really value for money.

*
I said I wish... it will never happen.. no way hybrid cars can depreciate 50% once you bought it. BTW, I will be the owner of Prius C tomorrow sweat.gif

I heard the soon to be revised National Automobile Policy will include tax incentive (i.e. personal income tax relief) for those who purchase a hybrid car. I may sell my Prius C and buy a new one if the incentive is very attractive.....
*
Hopefully it is true and can date back to May 2012, just like house purchasing incentive in 2010, if the tax deduction is 5K to 6K, it will be saving quite good in income tax, but I don't think selling Prius C and get another hybrid can recover the lost of selling or even make profit.

Yup once u get ur car u better tint it  asap  to protect your car cabin upholstery against damages due to ultra-voilet rays.
It is worth paying extra for better branded tints bcos of our hot weather & also to protect our skin.

I've alrdy testdrive Prius C few times on hot noon & found out the toyota optional window film Ecotint Ray Barrier's heat rejection is poor.
Lookin at our extreme hot weather, I prefer better heat rejection films than security films. Planning to get V-Kool Elite for front windsreen & V-Kool 55 for the rest window or 3M Crystalline 70 for front windscreen & 3M Crystalline 60 for the rest.

Can anyone enlighten me.. which is a better tint, JPJ compliance & which one is smart tag friendly bcos confuse with different feedback.. rclxub.gif
*
Smart tag friendly is Huper optik X3, TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejection) is almost same as 3M crystalline (a little bit loss to 3M)
3M has very good TSER, on par with VKool, but not really smart tag friendly.

Both Huper Optik X3 and 3M crystalline are ceramic type film, Huper Optik X3 is RM1400 for Prius C and 3M crystalline is RM1800.

My opinion is exactly the opposite.  The car is awesome for jam traffic.  You get total quietness & zero vibration in the cabin when the car is stop as the engine is also not running. Of course that is not going to help you in the fuel consumption dept but it is still more fuel economy than any other car out there.  So whether you are in big city jam or cruising in your neighborhood, hybrid is still the most fuel economy car and on top of that you get total quietness & zero vibration in the cabin which no other car can compare(except those super luxury b&w or lexus).
*
Actually Prius city FC is lower than highway FC, save more fuel when you drive in city with moderate jam.

So far I got a round trip 64KM with 24KM/L FC, no ECO mode, avoid EV during pick up, the pick up is actually not bad after four days driving, I'm always the first leading car when the traffic light green on, most of the time on the fast lane or middle lane, driving constantly at 70-80KM/h.

Only going up hill is feeling kinda sluggish, but I didn't push too much, still break in the car.

Anyone have this problem before?

I encountered 2 times. When I pump petrol almost full, the petrol gun will stop, then when I pull out, the petrol overflow out... Damn!
*
I never pump petrol to full, mostly 3/4 full only. pump to full tank is easier to overflow, and is not healthy as petrol contains some harmful gas.

With hybrid low FC, actually just pump half tank full and will last you for a week, carrying less fuel also mean carry less weight, and your FC will even good.

I believe it maybe some scam or improper driving. Cause we all know Prius C equip with tons of safety feature, & even have the tire pressure sensor. Toyota won't compromise the brake system which are vital to a car safety.

Maybe we need to find out more to proof this problem
*
Does Prius C equip with Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) ? I don't see it in my car, now might want to find the 3rd party TPMS...

Minor vibration noise noticed around dashboard area

Anyone experience quite a big noise like "ka ka ka" when car slowing moving from standstill and slowly release brake? although it is intermittent, it is quite annoying...

First of all, I am no bro... i m a gal...  tongue.gif
I got a RM1,550 discount from Salesman. Polished and waxed my car pre-delivery. Free floor mats. Full tank petrol ( we went to the petrol kiosk together, and he literally pumped till the petrol overflowed a little... LOL). The 10k and 20k free service is All In... inclusive of the motor oil. But the 1st 2 service ( 1k & 5k ) is normal la like the rest, only waive the workmanship fee.
*
From the RM1,550 discount, I can roughly tell your appearance, the discount amount must be proportional to beauty level brows.gif sweat.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
