What to worry?
Last time my Vios I modded:
1. Front bar, front lowered arm bar, anti roll bar, rear boot bar
2. Grounding
3. Voltage stabilizer
4. Open pod
5. M7 Em-con unit
6. Silicone hose
7. Alarm
8. Air con filter

I can even claimed the most expensive part which is the sterling rack for free

If want to be strict, even u change a rim they also can void your warranty..
*
However last time u also din do your service at SC then still can claim?

Yes. After 10k. Try to run your car as much as possible to reach 10k or 20k cuz by 20k, a lot of problems (touched wood) will occur

All my claimed came after I service outside

Dear PC owner,
After driving my car for a while, there is noticeable and annoying "eik eik" sound coming from back seat when driving on uneven road or enter pot hole and vibrating sound from the plastic cover below the steering.

The plastic sound can be eradicated when I hold it with my hand, so I suspecting is that cover issue. And the back seat, when I fold it and unfold it again, the sound gone for a while. Anyone experience this?

Thanks for the info, I think it just as reference, not a compulsory service for 5k KM. All depends on the SC itself.

Yesterday my SA told me, this batch PC arrived about 2700 unit. The next batch will need to wait till Oct which about 3000 unit.

Probably whoever didn't get this round will need to wait till Oct.

@Timeonce
Just wonder, any update from your SA about your PC? Found these salesman really good in juggling customers. BTW the loan approve really take time, so funny that I only get Maybank Loan Approve @2.45% the day I getting my PC. No choice I had go for other alternative bank.

For the rusted part at exhaust paip, my SA confirm that this is normal for every car (even the New Camry), and the rust just only the surface of the metal, just like the disc break. He said better don't spray paint or anything, as it already protected. (Dunno how true it is)

Something about engine oil. I think myth#6 and #8 explain some of the queations in this forum.
http://www.texlube.com/oilmyths.htm

Since PC engine always starts and stop, 0-20W has better advantage that 0-30W. Enginer wear is the worst during engine start. With a thinner oil, it is easier for the oil to "wet" the engine surface.

Toyota aim to use 0w-20. Why our local SC said now they changed to 10W-30? UMW tipu us?

http://www.toyota.com/owners/web/pages/res...hetic-motor-oil

Toyota already started to push for this since 2005 and yet UMW still using 10W-30?

I didn't take up Maybank loan, cause when it approved I already submitted for PBB loan @2.46% to purchase PC (Just monthly RM1 different).

So just forget about Maybank Loan, as get approval only, never sign any doc yet. Bank loan approval may take 1-2 week plus to process, so better submit 1 month before the car arrived in order to avoid delaying.

Ya, for my case, vibrational noise from the dashboard, and ceiling. Left hand side of the back only happened once after driving through a pot hole. Nothing else. My wife's. 24K Viva looks better after 1 year.
Fully imported must be good ? Sigh !!!

I used to owned a Wira and I only sent to SC once, ie first 1k. I used it for 11years and it had never broken down half way on the road .I serviced the car my self most of the time, oil, air filter, oil filter, and spark plug. Air con and alternator never mulfunctioned even after running for 200k+km.
For PC, I think the local SC guys probably just do all these basic things. The point here is: you can DIY if you want to save money and time.

How about those electrical parts, battery & motor?

I know SC will reset the meter everytime once they service. Otherwise there will have be warning sign keep pop out, asking you go service & maintenance.

After my 10k service, which is going soon, 2k more, will used back the engine oil that I used for my Vios last time. Not going to service at Toyota anymore cuz very pricey
*
Hmm... It is quite pricey, but is there like a workshop outside that can service hybrids? I don't want those that say they can and in the end they messed up your car...
