The VPNS? Yup because I've never heard it activate, not to mention I can creep up on pedestrians without them even knowing I'm there heh (not that I want to, but they just don't seem to notice).

QUOTE(vey99 @ Jun 17 2012, 10:13 PM) During hot weather, one should drive faster to reduce the air-con usage time and this will improve the FC. However, I do this both in the evening (hot) and morning (not so hot). The net results: FC remains unchanged: FC improves slightly in the evening but turns poorer slightly in the morning. However, it is still worth doing because the traveling has been reduced. This post has been edited by engah: Jun 18 2012, 08:46 AM |

QUOTE(Cheese918 @ Jun 17 2012, 08:39 PM) That should be mine...be go around town lately Time to first service, which SC you all go? I call up UMW Malaysia last time and they say only selected SC is qualify in servicing Prius type. I call again today and they say any service center will do service now. And I found out that the SC at Sungai Buloh have just went for training last 2 week. Don't want my PC get to be the demo car for service guide. Any suggestion? |

QUOTE(EVA01 @ Jun 18 2012, 09:35 AM) That should be mine...be go around town lately I did mine at Sg Buloh SC last month since I bought from the branch and they gave me RM30 voucher. I think all SC's are the same. They only do the basic things, change of gasket, lub oil and oil filter, unless you have specific complaints related to the Hybrid system. For the rest of items, they probably just tick, tick, tick.....Time to first service, which SC you all go? there were 2 posts in priuschat on the safety of the C.
One of the forumer was rear-ended by a 4X4 at bout 40+mph and he did not sustain any serious injuries. the second was a collision with a dear at 70+mph. all air bags deployed, driver escaped serious injuries but totalled his PC. the dear died though. A point to note on safety is that accidents occur (not an "if" but "when") not necessarily due to us as drivers but other drivers on the road... so the PC safety tests results and airbags are a big bonus. On the road I trust my driving skills but its other drivers that I worry about... remember the US kid who killed someone recently? he was SMSing while driving, crossed the center line and head on another car... killed the driver and paralysed the other car occupant. reading the priuschat experiences really sealed the deal for me in getting the C. btw, if things work out, i'll be getting my red C mid of this week |
