Damn today DBKL fogging... The spray now covered my whole car, went for car wash, now the layer of spray stick on the paint.

QUOTE(EVA01 @ Jun 11 2012, 03:05 PM) Malfree one just install the installer. Select the normal option then put the file into the SD card (need unlock the lock switch first) in the folder (where the UNL file located). How's your autolock combination? manage to get it done? I followed the Manual (US version), nothing happen.Running on Malfree latest version now. Search speed is a bit slow but working just fine. Added on June 11, 2012, 3:08 pmI just install 3M Air Filter on my PC battery air intact to prevent duct build up. Next stop is Original Emblem with LED light and All interior LED switch and entry light. Added on June 11, 2012, 3:26 pmI think the only Aqua blue in town driving at the moment? Won't be getting the full set of TRD pack but will try fit a daylight LED If I can get it in Japan later. Added on June 11, 2012, 3:36 pmFC is around 25 km/L (Morning) to 30.5 km/L (night with 50% on EV) PC have 36 liter fuel tank, mean around RM70 per fuel up. the trip computer show around 1050km for tank. The Technic to drive is very simple, don't hold back when acceleration (keep within ECO zone), When road is flat and reach 70-80 KM/h, drop the throttle and press a bit to keep the speed with EV only. When using EV mode for low speed zone (<40 km/h) and for highway, cruise control all the way at speed limit. If the ECO score is 80 most of the time, you will get roughly 30km/L. The key is constant speed. Turn off ECO mode for speedy pick up. Don't go to N or B. There is a code to toggle autolock function. (will share later once I try the combination) For backseat seatbelt, unlock it with your key and keep it away from blocking. This post has been edited by lkp857: Jun 12 2012, 06:19 PM |

QUOTE(conqu3ror @ Jun 12 2012, 06:37 PM) Car plate booking done by myself & the register let my SA's runner do it. Cos runner they need to go to special place to register. Where all the runner pack max to be registered at once. For consumer, u can walk into counter. Which is faster. That's what happen when I took my car. I took everything and register it myself. All JPJ are the same. I did it in penang.Probably is SA problem, keep delaying till the system down. Sigh Won't give him good score in the survey form. |

QUOTE(EVA01 @ Jun 11 2012, 05:54 PM) Well, I just got the air filter (have to cut myself) and going to try install it over the weekend. I have take a look at the air duct and fan, is not filtered, and being in the passenger zone mean it will suck in dust and hair. Which mean it will accumulate in the fan blade (cylinder blade) and stop the air flow. which is critical to batt optimal temp (degrade EV run time and overheat charging) Not sure anyone did this before but I saw lot of those desktop tower with lot of hole one...the fan get dusty quick. Don't want that happen to my PC. If you mean the EV mode that you need to manual enter, yes, all transmission will be power by Motor and impose speed limit (the motor gear can only spin that fast before pulling over current). Not good for sudden acceleration as the power draw will be unstable and might damage to battery unit. Trivial corner HSD system doesn't have a Engine powered reverse gear. is ALL power by the motor 1 & 2 !! mean the engine will start to power the Motor 1 to power the motor 2 to reverse the car This is due to much simple gear design for the HSD gear. |

QUOTE Hi all Prius C owners Not too sure if any of you guys/girls having these problems with your prius c, might be i'm the only one... (1) Rattling sound at seatbelt area (2) Front side headlamps faulty (3) Rattling sound around the power outlet (suspected dashboard) (4) Rattling sound around the push start button (dashboard as well?) (5) Rattling sound at glove compartment Somehow the build quality of prius C do not instill much confidence that it's made in Japan, it's like a Proton!! Next Tuesday will be my third visit to UMW Toyotsu in Shah Alam, first 2 rounds, nothing was solved Are much knocking around, suspect most of the sounds originates in the dashboard area... recycled plastic indeed.... |

QUOTE(Salamander @ Jun 12 2012, 02:57 PM) A repaint would be nice but I bet they won't hehe. I agree though, they probably use a crappy third party to do all the stuff like wash/polish/etc. Even my windows have stupid stains but I'm not sure if that was from the tinting guys. They cut into one rubber part of the left back window, and one rubber part on the driver window is not stuck on properly. Damn lauya job whoever did all that and inspected too. Right now I am also making an archive of all the nicks/scratches/chips just in case I send it somewhere and they add new ones. I think if you complain to SC they might repaint for you. Last tme my old Myvi (sold off ord) hv the same problem and Perodua repainted for me. I complaint directly to SC. I didn't bother to go through the SA at all because that guy's name is Ah Beng! Serious. If Perodua can repaint, UMW must be able too... |

Today there was weirdass clouds and strong wind and rain and I had no problems, made it go into bigass puddles and all and it's fine, nothing came up on the display but I remember there was a user who said some warning lights came on when he drove it through heavy rain, I did not experience that at all (yet) so it's been ok for me.QUOTE(gfwong @ Jun 12 2012, 11:25 PM) I think if you complain to SC they might repaint for you. Thanks, I will try to go through SC if I can, I wonder how long that process will take (from filing a complaint to getting the bonnet repainted) so I might get it done one shot when I go for my first service. There won't be any issue with getting the color to match will there? Or maybe they will just take the short route and try to polish those marks out and say they repainted it?If Perodua can repaint, UMW must be able too... Damn todays clouds were sinister looking. After many moons of waiting, I finaly rcv my silver C-Wing yesterday. Complained to my SA about the rear left side plastic panel just below the rear left fabric seat that always pops out even after your press it in. SA told me it's common but i presume it's a manufactured defect. Does anyone face this problem..?
