I've checked back your Prime95 screenies looks like you're not stressing full RAM so it's not that stressful.
For prime always use custom blend full amount RAM min FFT 128k.
*
will do it when i'm home. just realized my 3770k batch L22xxxx. read some old post b4 said bad imc on this batch . that why it is hard to oc my ram i guess

Is it stressfull enuf if i ran LinX with All ram tested? coz i've ran it last nite when i oc my ram to 1866mhz. got 109 Gflops or so with max temp of 102. cant post pic coz like i said im on phone

So, are you saying that Noctua is better than my current cooler? hmm.gif Or what you mean is, time for watercooling? brows.gif There is this review where CM Hyper 612S perform better than NH-D14.
Yeah, I also been wondering this. Another thing that unfinished debate is OCCT vs other apps.
*

This review suggested that 612S outperforms Noctua NH-D14 by 1C on passive mode. But once fitted with their stock fans it's another story. 612S is not even close to the latter or lost when powered by Noctua's stock fans. Pretty sure you you won't run it without fan (passive). Anyway, 612S wins on best value.

My 3770K is L220B296, IMC is so so but not the best. Max RAM it's able to push is 2710MHz but bad on tight timings. sad.gif
I think a worse chip won't even do 2600. For me any chip which can do 2800+ has a great IMC. 3000+ is a gold one.

Choosing all RAM to be tested is the max stress level + 100ish GFlops.

I don't think it's the best value when combo with 2 Gentle Typhoon fan. Hmmm... Let's see how the cooler performance later when I stress my CPU with the right way.

I guess this review are not that spesific:

when you said full amount ram, referring to the tab "performance" on taskman, is it the total ram or available ram?

running it now. comparing prime95 custom blend to linx, linx generate more heat. my temp peaked at 102 on linx and only 90 on prime95...

Pretty sure it will hit TJmax if full RAM selected. biggrin.gif
on the other hand I got something special to show you guys later... brows.gif

Managed to shave off another ~10C by taking the hottest core & idle temp into consideration. thumbup.gif rclxms.gif

I didn't test with IHS on. TIM is applied directly on the bare naked topless die smile.gif

Gonna try tonight... Full RAM selected takes a long time for 1 loop and I was already in "sleep" mode, lazy to wait tongue.gif

That CLU TIM (not interested in removing IHS sweat.gif ) seems quite interesting, price is not cheap though.

the longer the loop, the more stressful & higher chance of detecting errors.
As for the TIM, initially I didn't really believe people kept saying that CLU shove off their core temps by 10C. I meant seriously that much??!! So I decided to grab it & test it out myself. It amazed me & it's worth the money.

So, that's mean the CLU TIM is really the best for now? Is there any competitor TIM? Wow! Only by changing TIM can reduce 10c. Maybe gonna visit Niclasteoh next week.

Collaboratory Liquid Pro has at least 2x the conductivity of Liquid Ultra

CL Pro = 82w/mK
CL Ultra = 32 or 38w/mK
IX = 20w/mK
PK-1 = 10.2w/m -c
everything else is less

But too bad I can't find it locally. sad.gif

What is the mK thingy? So, higher the value that written, the better the TIM?

w/mK = watt per meter per kelvin
thermal conductivity

the higher the conductivity, the better the heat transfer

Search for "coollaboratory" in Full Systems, CPU, Motherboards, Casings, PSUs
Found niclasteoh is the only trader selling this TIM.

for the vcore setting, there are 2 options, manual and offset
now i set it at manual @1.245v, what's the difference with the offset mode and how should i configure it?
