Nice! Gonna try with 1.65v later, now downloading anime laugh.gif What about System Agent Voltage (VCCSA)? This one inside processor, worry a bit...

Added on August 5, 2012, 4:34 pmEDIT: 1.65v no luck, guess I'm stuck with this speed until I get new sticks tongue.gif

Just noticed that
VCCSA = IMC
VCCIO = VTT

both of these voltages are helpful for mem OC & populated dimms.

Hello. Can anyone explain if I'm gaming only, do I need to overclock my CPU? Around <4.5GHz. Will it improve my frames in game or anything that will improve my gaming experience ?

Manually set multiplier will overide turbo thus turbo will not active.

Suspect there's power leakage or short circuit in your casing.
Make sure that PSU cables are not contact with casing.

Added on August 11, 2012, 2:43 pmWhat about no OC? Will it happen? Might be bad OC also because windows will save settings during the shutdown process.

If possible pls take a snap on the bios settings and list down your PC specs so that we could see what's wrong. Try to sort out whether it's CPU or RAM OC issue. Load default, OC the CPU only, increase CPU multiplier and vcore, let the RAM remain on default settings. Then try shutdown several times. If no prob then proceed for RAM. Load the XMP profile. Reboot and shutdown. Just do not touch anything which you dont know. smile.gif

Also, any gigabyte mobo user here? Anyone know how can I turn off "spread spectrum" on gigabyte mobo? sweat.gif

Glad that you've found the culprit. 1.89v is indeed way too high for normal OC. Default: 1.8v

Welcome to the club. thumbup.gif
Not sure for latest Giga boards but on old platform you could go into your BIOS, press [CTRL] + [F1],
then disable spread spectrum (Spread spectrum was hidden)
