yea man... ivy power sucker.  tongue.gif  so gonna throw it away or jus push to more vcore and burn another unit. hahaha

so ur 6.8ghz is jus for fun only or can use it daily?
*
im testing the cpu from a few to run the benchmark..

i'm not sure what you mean power sucker for a 22nm cpu, partly it is due to the thermal interface and not a power sucker compared to AMD FX and LGA2011..

daily use 4.5g is enough for me within the temperature range in full loading..

running benchmark =/ daily use.. it is just for hobby

No worries on condensation as both the mobo + TEC block are insulated properly with Kneaded Art Eraser. nod.gif

This Quad TEC is works insanely great as per descriptions in the original OCN thread.
I still got an extra TEC, the single TEC but haven't tested the replacement top which was cracked previously.

My SB-E rig doesn't really need more than an AX1200 for stock trifire 7970 + OCed 3930K.
AX1200 can pull more than 1200w out of specs.
Quad CF needs 2 of these PSUs.

Want to sell the single TEc?
What if I don't feed power to TEc and just let it run passive. How much worst does the heat dissipation get for the block.

CPU socket + backplate + TEC block are the ones tend to condense when going extreme cooling like this.
Not the mosfet VRM part when it comes to CPU-only cooling.

I will sell the single TEC after testing ok. But you need a low room humidity to make it worked = airconded.
The TEC block without controller power performs badly for sure.

Good for you. yes i have the single controller in the first page of this thread.
I need to do a leak test first before putting this up for sale though & it won't be cheap. biggrin.gif

I've put it on sale in our GS pls check it out. biggrin.gif

Update: there's a false reading on the RealTemp as posted above the lowest core temp should be 0C minimum because by default Realtemp reported 91C as TJmax as opposed to original spec which is 105C.
