Okay, i just bought a G55 and thinking to get another N56 for my gf. After seeing the post complaining the after sale service, I decided not to purchase Asus and need Pros' advice here!!!

Prefer Brand: Any except Asus and Acer
Usage: movie, song, work (microsoft office, photoshop, etc)
Budget: <4k
Others: Must be a good after sales service

Thanks!!! It's better to give me some choices than only one. biggrin.gif

Thanks so much for the info
which one in your opinion is worth buying?
*
It all depends on you nod.gif
The HP, Asus and Acer are pretty good at gaming.
The HP has better speakers whereas the Toshiba has better screen and 3 years local warranty...

hey all... need your opinion and advice on below MSI laptops, which one is better, in term of money vs spec:

1. GE60 [15.6", FHD Anti-glare 1920 x 1080, Intel Chief River i7-3610QM, NVIDIA GT650M 2.0GB GDDR5, 8GB DDR3, 750GB 7200RPM HDD, SteelSeries Gaming Keyboard, Gaming Mouse, Backpack, Win7 Premium, 2 Years Warranty] – RM4399 FREE SteelSeries QCK Mass mouse pad

2. GT60 [15.6", FHD Anti-glare 1920 x 1080, Intel Chief River i7-3610QM, NVIDIA GTX670M 3GB GDDR5, 8GB DDR3, 750GB 7200RPM HDD, Dynaudio Sound, SteelSeries Gaming Keyboard With Backlight, Gaming Mouse, Backpack, Win7 Premium, 2 Years Warranty]
– RM5899 FREE SteelSeries Siberia V2 Headset
*
Not sure what you're asking about; but the GTX670M >>> GT650M, which is why the GT60 is more expensive...
If you're into gaming and budget isn't a problem, then the GT60 is the better pick, with color backlit keyboard summore brows.gif

Brand : Asus
budget : RM200-2500
Usage : online, movie, gaming (football manager, FIFA )
screen : 14", 15"

Thanks for your recommendation!

Fifa is not exactly very demanding in terms of specifications, can consider these:
Asus
14"
A43Sd-VX216, B960 + Nvidia GT610M@RM1399[2.2kg], FreeDOS, 2GB, 320GB(5400rpm)
A43Sd- VX419V/420V/421V/422V, i3-2350M + Nvidia GT610M@RM1999[2.4kg], W7HP, 2GB, 500GB(5400rpm), colors: black/blue/red/white
A43Sm-VX102v, i5-2450M + Nvidia GT630M@RM2099[2.4kg], 2GB, 500GB (5400rpm)

15"
Asus A53SM-SX019V, i5-2450M + Nvidia GT630M@RM2449, 4GB, 750GB, W7HP

In terms of performance:
CPU: i5-2450M > i3-2350M > B960
GPU: GT630M > GT610M

"working" is very general :lol;
Anyway, can consider these:
14"
Acer
V3-471G-52454G75g, i5-2450M + Nvidia GT630M@RM2299, 4GB, 750GB

Asus
N45SL (Jay-Chou edition), i5-2450M + Nvidia GT635M@RM2899[Bang & Olufsen], 750GB (7200rpm), Color: White

Dell
Inspiron 14R (Limited Edition), i7-3612QM + Nvidia GT640M@RM2999[2.38kg], 8GB, 1TB(5400rpm)
Vostro 3450, i5-2450M + AMD HD6630M@RM2517, W7HB,backlit keyboard colors: silver/ brown/red
Vostro 3450, i7-2640M + AMD HD6630M@RM2983, W7HB,backlit keyboard colors: silver/ brown/red

Acer for the best bang for buck; Asus as the best all-rounder (good specs, good speakers etc.), Dell for the best warranty and performance (14R)

Can consider these:
Dell Inspiron 15R (Limited Edition), i7-3612QM + AMD HD7730M@RM2999, 8GB, 1TB(5400rpm)

HP dv6-6c19TX, i7-2670QM + AMD HD7690M XT@RM3099[Beats], 4GB, 750GB (5400rpm)

For both units, just use the remaining money to upgrade the RAM to 8GB, and the warranty to 3 years nod.gif

It works extremely well with gaming, watching movie and listening song. The speakers are really loud. rclxms.gif
The bad things are, the adapter can get very hot and pls avoid touching it. Also, it's very heavy and not suitable for a girl or whoever couldn't carry such a heavy laptop. I think it's more than 4kg (adapter itself already >2kg) sweat.gif
About the quality, so far so good. No hang, etc.

Can I say this is the best laptop at this price?? hmm.gif
