Need recommendation,,to choose between these models:
HP dv6-6c19TX, i7-2670QM + AMD HD7690M XT@RM3099[Beats], 4GB, 750GB (5400rpm)

N55Sl-S2064v, i5-2450M + Nvidia GT635M + (1600x900)@RM2899[Bang & Olufsen], 4GB, 750GB(5400rpm)

N45SL (Jay-Chou edition), i5-2450M + Nvidia GT635M@RM2899[Bang & Olufsen], 750GB (7200rpm), Color: White

G55VW-S1095V, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M (2GB) + (1920x1080)@3999, 4GB, 1TB(5400rpm), W7HP

Acer V3-571G-73614G1T, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GT640M@RM2899, 4GB, 1TB

Dell Inspiron 15R (Limited Edition), i7-3612QM + AMD HD7730M@RM2999, 8GB, 1TB(5400rpm)

engineering student, so need high performance laptop,, casual gaming as well,, budget 4K, the lower the better,, prefer 15" actly-larger workspace,, prefer with battery life >4hours (the dv6 is good, can get 5-6hours, but cons is the resolution n hdd rpm)

after 3 hours roaming around Lowyat, decided to go for HP dv4-3006tx RM2.2k.

might no be the wisest choice but, too many people using Acer, and RM2k Asus laptops looks really cheap (yep, A43SM looks cheap to me biggrin.gif ).

thanks to all the sifoos for your suggestions. smile.gif

hope it'll last another 2-3 years before another laptop take its place. brows.gif

Gaming performance should be more or less similar nod.gif
still, might want to wait for more benchmarks on the 7730M

Dell Inspiron 15R (Limited Edition), i7-3612QM + AMD HD7730M@RM2999, 8GB, 1TB(5400rpm) for sure smile.gif brows.gif
since dell warranty services/ and trusts are better/more support than acer smile.gif

"Acer=Cheap gaming laptops THAT WORK GREAT"
for AMD HD7730M / GT 640 not a big difference, you can check here. if i'm not wrong, i think amd 7730 is better than 640 5-10%.

not saying that Acer is not good, but for dell (my experience) I can survive it even the display screen was broken to half smile.gif
