As for the S2064v, the ones sold here only comes in HD+ unfortunately

the N55 is pretty much your only pick at the moment...
Mobile i3 and i5 for Ivy Bridge will probably come a lot later sad.gif

A 14" notebook will probably suit you better nod.gif
You might want to consider a lightweight one as well if budget permits (although it might mean sacrificing a little bit of the usual features e.g. speakers, built, performance etc.)

Asus N56 is around 2.7KG, Asus N46 could be around 2.4KG I guess. hmm.gif

If you are fit, you can even get a 14" Alienware M14x with GT650M(2.9KG). link laugh.gif

The new N-series may still reuse the GT635M instead of the new Kepler chips. doh.gif

If that is true then its rather bad news sad.gif
But then the good thing about Asus is that their laptop spec refreshes are always the fastest haha laugh.gif

Ivy Bridge processors doesn't bring about very significant performance boost, especially for those looking for gaming laptops..
However its a different story if one is looking for a normal subnotebook or ultrabook without a dedicated GPU nod.gif

I still find it facepalmable..

If this article is to be believed: http://www.digitaltrends.com/laptop-reviews/asus-n46-review/

At least they were sane enough not to use a GT640M LE.

I don't think its a reliable source... I don't think Asus's N series will ever run on an i3 processor laugh.gif
And FullHD on a 14" screen seemed abit awkward as well hmm.gif

Anyway, the review on the Lenovo Y480 did show that the GT640M LE is around the AMD HD6790M right? Still better than GT635M? Not really sure, what do you think? hmm.gif

**But then I do like the new design haha laugh.gif

Oh, they do have the customizable specs for the N-series over in the West. Different SKUs to cater for different price ranges. laugh.gif
Oh, tell that to Sony then. FHD on a 13.3" screen. whistling.gif

Anyway, rejoice. My further investigation shows that the N6-series is coming with a GT650M.

If I'm not mistaken, the performance of the GT640M LE should be similar to the 96SP with GDDR5 GT555M variant.

I guess u meant HD7690M. hmm.gif
HD7690M is on par with crippled GT555M in Y570 which has been rebadged to GT640M LE.
