QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Apr 30 2012, 11:08 PM) A 14" notebook will probably suit you better You might want to consider a lightweight one as well if budget permits (although it might mean sacrificing a little bit of the usual features e.g. speakers, built, performance etc.) QUOTE(Amal @ Apr 30 2012, 11:28 PM) Asus N56 is around 2.7KG, Asus N46 could be around 2.4KG I guess. hurm...will reconsider then... If you are fit, you can even get a 14" Alienware M14x with GT650M(2.9KG). link now aiming new dv6-7000 and n56 de... btw the ivy bridge proc got i3 and i5 meh??? i though only i7 got only(for mobile)... |

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 1 2012, 11:06 PM) Nope, its not worth it (especially if you're using it for gaming)... ouch...i though it using non crippled 1... The GT555m is crippled and not very good... If you're planning on using it for multimedia, you'll be better off with these instead Asus N55Sf-S2356v [black], i5-2450M + Nvidia GT555m (2GB) + 1600x900@RM2799[Bang & Olufsen]; 750GB, USB3.0, Sonic Master subwoofer Toshiba Qosmio F750-1008X, i5-2430QM + Nvidia GT540M (2GB)@RM2699[2.9kg][harman/kardon], 640GB (7200rpm), color: glossy red ok guess i wont put this in my list then... hehe glad i ask here 1st if not probally i buy edi honestly n55sf design doesnt attract me...but n56 did attract me... wonder if there a i5 version for n56? |

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 8 2012, 07:05 PM) The problem is with IB- the processor... oh...nvm i get it Since the V3 you are referring to runs on a ULV processor, it'll be less hot i guess u confuse in acer models so not going to get to get the v3 (which is i7) loh maybe ill jus go hp dv6 instead bah since new model so |

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 8 2012, 08:52 PM) The performance gain for IB compared to SB is not exactly worth it, especially when heat problems are reported... haha, ok, i made my decision edi Know what you need, that's more important. GPU is more important if you're into gaming, and its not like the previous SB i7 processors are lousy |
