If you're into gaming, the HP Dv6 would be better because of the more powerful GPU

As mentioned many times, higher VRAM is not an indicator of GPU performance. My 3GB GT555m is even weaker than a 1.5GB GTX460M

The Dell XPS 15 is not worth buying if you're not upgrading the screen... for that budget there are way better options out there
There are retail stores for Dell as well, just that you won't get to customize specifications if you buy directly from there

Yup, 2xHDD. You can do Raid-0 to double the performance (also double the failure rate )

I think 8GB of ram with max capacity of 16GB (4 ram slots).

GE620DX is MSI's laptop. Yes it is good.

Depends on your usage... if you're only using it for normal web surfing, light office tasks and some movies, then its the perfect choice... 13" is just nice... the U32u is quite light as well~
And with an 8-cell battery, you'd be able to enjoy very long battery runtimes

4. Usage : Mid gaming, video/photo editing/graphic design(AE,PSD,AI), FULL HD movies & video, downloading

5. Preferred laptop/screen size : 15+ (if possible 1920x1080)

Normal usage is web surfing but is it powerful enough to run VMware?

Can run VMWare but would be slow.

There are only a handful of FullHD laptops at the moment, and none fulfills your requirements perfectly

If it relies more on processing power, then perhaps you would want to consider the Samsung 3 series (12.5") instead, comes with an i3 processor
