Purchase at online price? Second hand? If not, that is a pretty good price for spec mentioned. smile.gif Including shipping?

How's your search? biggrin.gif

Finalizing now, guess got not much choice ady.

Q1. Which one better ar?
- Asus N55SL-S2065V @Rm3550, 4GB Ram, 2GB GT 635, BluRay
- HP Pavilion dv6-6c19TX @Rm3050, 4GB Ram, 1GB ATI 7690 GPU

Q2. The GPU 1GB and 2GB differs a lot, i mean gaming wise?

Q3. i7 soon to have this ivy bridge also?
*
Q1:
If you're into gaming, the HP Dv6 would be better because of the more powerful GPU nod.gif

Q2:
As mentioned many times, higher VRAM is not an indicator of GPU performance. My 3GB GT555m is even weaker than a 1.5GB GTX460M sweat.gif

Q3:
Yes, there are info surfacing of the successor the both the Asus N55 as well as the HP Dv6 nod.gif

Based on the specifications, its a Dell XPS 15 right?
The Dell XPS 15 is not worth buying if you're not upgrading the screen... for that budget there are way better options out there
There are retail stores for Dell as well, just that you won't get to customize specifications if you buy directly from there hmm.gif

For your budget, get this one instead (as suggested by acid_ruleZz sifu), its way, way better:
15.6"
Asus
G53Sx-S1208v, i7-2670QM + Nvidia GTX560M (2GB) + 1920x1080 (anti-glare)@RM3999, 500GB + 500GB, backlit keyboard, gaming backpack &mouse

After bargaining you should be able to get at around RM3.8k or so

Yup, 2xHDD. You can do Raid-0 to double the performance (also double the failure rate sad.gif)

I think 8GB of ram with max capacity of 16GB (4 ram slots).

GE620DX is MSI's laptop. Yes it is good.

Depends on your usage... if you're only using it for normal web surfing, light office tasks and some movies, then its the perfect choice... 13" is just nice... the U32u is quite light as well~
And with an 8-cell battery, you'd be able to enjoy very long battery runtimes thumbup.gif

There are only a handful of FullHD laptops at the moment, and none fulfills your requirements perfectly
Closest would be:
MSi GE620DX-675, i7-2670QM + Nvidia GT635M + (1920x1080)@RM3599, 8GB, 750GB, 2 years warranty

For Asus, you're going to have to make compromises:
N55Sf-S1515v [black], i5-2450M + Nvidia GT555m (2GB) + 1920x1080@2899[Bang & Olufsen]; 750GB (7200rpm), USB3.0, Sonic Master subwoofer *EOL-ed *not i7 processor
N55SF-SX331v, i7-2670QM + Nvidia GT555M + 1600x900 + Bluray@RM3599[Bang & Olufsen]; USB3.0, Sonic Master subwoofer *non-FullHD
N55Sl-S2064v, i5-2450M + Nvidia GT635M + (1600x900)@RM2899[Bang & Olufsen], 4GB, 750GB(5400rpm) *Not FullHD, not i7
G53Sx-S1208v, i7-2670QM + Nvidia GTX560M (2GB) + 1920x1080 (anti-glare)@RM3999, 500GB + 500GB, backlit keyboard, gaming backpack &mouse *over your budget

For Dell:
XPS 15, i5-2450M + Nvidia GT540M@RM3399 [JBL], 8GB, 1TB (5400rpm), [CPU Options: i5-2450M - i7-2760QM], upgradeable to B+RGLED FullHD, backlit keyboard customizable
XPS 15, i7-2670QM + Nvidia GT540M@RM3799 [JBL], [CPU Options: i7-2670QM - i7-2760QM], upgradeable to B+RGLED FullHD, backlit keyboard customizable *over your budget with FullHD screen upgrade
XPS 15z, i5-2450M + Nvidia GT525M (1GB) + (1920x1080)@RM3599[2.51kg], backlit keyboard *not i7
XPS 15z, i7-2640M + Nvidia GT525M (2GB) + (1920x1080)@RM4099[2.51kg], backlit keyboard *dual-core i7 only, over your budget

What is VMware? tongue.gif
If it relies more on processing power, then perhaps you would want to consider the Samsung 3 series (12.5") instead, comes with an i3 processor
Samsung 3 series NP350U2B, i3-2350M + Intel HD3000@RM2099, 4GB, 500GB, W7HP *earlier variants witt i3-2310/2330M can be around RM1.7k only
