According to Mingthein.com. He said that there are certain batch that is affected by the AF issue (well as far as those that he tested). and 8000xxx to 8001xxx are affected. Mine is also 8000xxx.

You might wanna read the above mentioned link. Since you have the 24mm 1.4G + D800 combo. worth testing to be sure.

hope Nikon would really sorted that out and improve their QC on the D800.
planning to get one by mid of May. Hopefully there will be adequate stocks and price would be stabilized and cheaper by then.

surprisingly from that minthein site, he says 85mm 1.4G doesnt perform as well.
i thought those issues only affected the 85mm D versions.

since all so rich rich, other that short on cash can gimme some review on third party battery grip? the most reliable one between:
1. phottix
2. aputure
3. meike

i would think all of them would offer the same reliability etc.
just go for the one with better warranty, and from those 3 i would guess is phottix.

I have phottix batt grip fpr D5100 too. No prob so far, a year on. But like all third party grip. Its plastic.

The original MB-D80 is plastic too laugh.gif . Only MB-D10, MB-D11 etc are magnesium alloy inside.

由於此貼文一出後，引發轉載、討論，原po為了回應網友的熱烈迴響，近日陸續「放出」更多照片，還補上3D版的照片、影片，以及體貼沒有3D螢幕的朋友，同時也擺上了HD version版的影片。

另外，原po文網友說，很多朋友詢問照片中的Model是誰，答案就是亞亞！她是一位很棒的模特兒，他還特地在貼文中，補上Model亞亞的粉絲專頁，要大家一起去按個讚為她打氣吧！

i got back my set of gears except 70-200mm within a week of time from nikon BTS...
should say their service is quite fast...
now i'm waiting to them for another lens...
hopefully will be ready by mid of april...
