She seemed like quite a rational person actually. I don't mean when she's talking about Genneva. Look at her background. She founded her own company that organizes seminars.

How on earth did she get caught up in this so deeply? Boggles the mind. rclxub.gif

Trainers at seminars give training and keep repeating the same thing from the training material. I would say background matches the penchant for repetitive talks.

I saw takers of the gold @ 16x per g. Why risk damaging it.  hmm.gif

you have 2 options
- break the gold into half to see there's no other materials and losing a bit of value
- lose money completely.

I am also glad that they are also registered as directors of Genneva Pte Ltd in Singapore. With the Singaporean authourities who looks into this kind of scam seriously, at least it will be more difficult for them to run away overseas. The singaporean authorities will track them down. This is what I hope.

Genneva offers warehouse storage andsecurity service for your gold and pay you with 0.5% incentive. They serve you and yet give you money. Won't people see the trick?

How much Genneva is willing to pay me if I let them storing my used broken socks?

I remember few years ago when I just started depositing some gold investment via gold saving account of UOB Singapore. This bank charges yearly management fee. I argue with them and received the explanation of they sell gold with very mild adjustment from spot price. The management fee is the on going fee for admin and storage of the inevsted gold. They need money to rent the storage and secure the gold.

SEE !!! this is a real business sense.

How come Genneva stores and secures the gold for you, and yet pay you. Unlese, Genneva is a thief.

Hey Kent, You are unfair to BNM.
They did advertise full page advert warning, daily, alternately in Star and NST, over 7 to 9 days.
You did not read the papers?
*
Thanks for the clearification. True, I seldom read other than Chinese newspaper.

However, I still say, they have not done the good work as EPF and PIDM. Both have advertised their message regularly in Chinese newspaper. BNM has to ensure their alerts are penetrating all levels.

Such alerts are useless. When someone has been brainwashed, no matter how good/large the alerts are, they are till heading their heads towards.

True, alert might not work for someone.

Hence, BNM has to be inovative for their message. They can alert public as such:

" be aware of those unjustifiable return investment offers especially you see DR.M and Rosmah appear in their openning or dinner....."

This would be good to attract public attention!

BNM did their part in advertising and put on their website for the alert list. How many buyers who knows this but choose to ignore, or ask their consultant and listening to them instead.

And how many did not listen to their friends or family who says very risky..

Local gold bullion price are freely available but still wanna buy at higher price.

Mostly these people don't even read the whole newspaper or visit BNM website.

They just join the bandwagon simply listening to hearsay.
