QUOTE(abhipraaya @ May 17 2012, 08:56 PM) Is it possible to Change / transfer the ownership of these units from one person to another without resorting to disposing the units and the other person purchasing them again from pool? Indirectly, yes you can. But have to travel to Terengganu, kelantan or kedah to do it on a selected day only. Been there and done it This post has been edited by aeiou228: May 27 2012, 11:29 PM

Been there and done it Why those 3 states and on selected days? If person A has some units in his passbook and he wants to transfer the units to person B (perhaps transfer to a family member FOC) can this be done without resorting to person A selling the units off and person B immediately purchasing the units, whereby the chance of repurchasing is slim.

You are absolutely right about it, unit holder A can't transfer to unit holder B directly. One must sell and the other must buy at the same time. Still no clue ?

My aunt bought for me the share for this one last year, and when i started working, i took over and oversee its performance.
Currently it yields 6.5% per annum.
Now my aunt wants me to invest more on this share, but i'm very sceptical about its performance.
kindly enlighten.

In the morning around 9am++ went to PNB try to top up, no luck. Counter ppl told me normally can success buy after bank open, which means after 930am. that time only got ppl selling, but not much also. At the same day, during lunch time around 1pm wanted to try my luck again, went to CIMB, filled up the form, wait for number, and asked the counter check for me..luckily can buy in RM300!

I think because of this, so no people go and top up opps, then you guys gonna try to top up after this..!

Hi people. I am very new at this so please pardon me being naive and immature about this.
1. So i tried to open an ASN1M account in CIMB, the said no quota. And when I asked about other non-bumi products the agent told me they dont offer other products but when i called up PNB they said the PNB should offer other products such as ASN3 and ASG. So can I buy these other products from CIMB or Maybank or other agents??
2. I didn find much info here on ASG (i admit i din search throughly), if I were to buy in on ASG, what should i learn??
(I have no finance background, so i m a complete noob with most terms used)
3. Anyone has any recommended read for starters like me? So that I could understand better what is at risk and how earning are done??
