You can request either visa or MC, on the form you fill under remarks, you write your request there.
To be honest, its quite unlikely you'd use the VISA/MC much due to its 1x treat points and nothing else.

1x treat points = 0.5% cashback equivalent.
So better to find another card to replace it in your wallet.

OCBC Ti MC if the approval goes through is a good one.
My application stuck for that.

salary just lower a bit, really a bit from the maybank 2 gold card requirement, if unsuccessful, any other way to go for it? Appeal? Or go other Maybank Branch to hv another try?

Okie, this week go dell center had a try

When I fill in the M2C form it only got platinum or gold. That's why cannot choose MC or visa. I think that 1 depend on MBB. I only can get gold version though.

1U MAC store don't accept AMEX card.

Maybe u can try call their call centre to apply. I apply thru bank and all application failed. Then this time I call to their call centre and the executive follow your application will help you in all ways to get you approve as in my case and there I got approved in 2 days time after my document they required is complete.

I used amex to book hotel from agoda.com on saturday (7/4/2012) coz i wan to get the 5% rebate.

But just now when i checked the credit card transaction history, i found tat the transaction date is 10/4/2012 and posting date is on 11/4/2012. @@

anyone can help me? am i still eligible to get 5% rebate?

Don't worry about the posting date. The rebate given is based on transaction date.

So means fion_ee's that one has no rebate as transaction date is 10/4.

both date also non-weekend

My case is I cun cun can apply gold only. The call center I means is the HQ at 1300 88 6688. Press the number to talk to executive or something and then credit card. I forgot already the actual number to press.

Use Maybank VISA/MasterCard for 6% discount, at anytime anywhere. Drawback? No 5xTP. It doesn't matter that much to me rather than taking risk to book during weekends.
I just booked my hotel for Bangkok trip 2 days ago.
Agoda has the tendency to not process its transactions during weekends.
Transaction date is more important but your case is 10/4/2012 which was a Tuesday, in another word there is no weekend rebate for you.

Agoda has 6% discount using visa/master?

Actually just now i also called to this number to ask for the application status, the lady, Susie told me that it is not successfully. So, you mean now i still can call back to ask for "re-register" huh???

The lady ask me call back to the maybank branch that i submit my application. But i wonder call back the branch for wat? Wat the branch can do? All the decision is at head quarter right?
