If one is earning less than RM36K per year, the maximum credit limit shall not be more than 2X his/her monthly salary.

As for OCBC credit limit, well, there is no general rule on credit limit but subject to case by case basis. Some people's application are even rejected even though they claim to have excellent credit history.

Anyway, if one does earn RM36K per year, it is odd that he/she cannot afford (or not willing) to get a medical card. With the medical card, one does not have to worry about hospital bills at private hospitals.

If you are talking about paying other people's medical bills at Private Hospitals, RM10K CL may not be enough too (especially if surgery is required).

Other people's bill in my case. haha, thank you for the reply thumbup.gif

hi don't know it this is the right place if it is sorry.

How does the 12 month 0% interest repayment work if I want to buy a new phone.

Assuming phone cost 2.4k. so every month they will deduct 200 automatically from card for 12 months with no interest on the 2.4k?

So do I need to swipe 1st time 200 then I get the phone or do I have to fill up some form?
Is this how it works or will the be hidden charges somewhere?Couldn't find much info in the search option.

the vendor will key into their credit card machine that you opted for the 12/24 month 0% interest payment. the full amount of say RM2,400 will be deducted monthly at RM200.00 permonth.

simple...

appreciate if anyone can clarify or had experience with Ambank's True Visa credit card.
here it says 0% interest on all purchases for first 3 months
http://www.ambankgroup.com/en/personal/car...ambanktrue.aspx

i'm thinking of getting a bike, it is something like i'll pay half by cash and the rest will be on credit card...so if it's true that 0% interest on all purchases for first 3 months, i think i can pay the rest within the next 3 months....

what do u guys think?

But will they add the 2.4k to the total credit sum?

lets say I owe bank now 4k limit is 10k so will it still add 2.4k to the total sum or just charge my card 200 every month?

Add. So it is RM 4k + RM 2.4k and it will be reduced RM 200 every month. smile.gif
So, in a way it actually reduces your credit limit, and your credit limit will be increased RM 200 every month until the total RM 2.4k is cleared.

The last thing you want is a bank who send you a card which is already activated. Do you know how dangerous that is??? You are exposed to FRAUD.

Imagine fraudster intercepted your card and continue to swipe your card without you knowing.....you will get into trouble my friend.

Bank sending a non-activated card is for our own good. All it takes is just a call or sms to activate.

If i know there's a bank who send me activated card, i will go complain them to Bank Negara to ask them to work for my RM50 gst.

Play safe brudder.

I would think NO since the principal card holder is the one responsible for supp cards too.

Hi guys, for your reading pleasure, I just published my usual freaking long winded article with a short title My USA Trip 2013.

My trip to USA would not have materialized if not for the wonderful Maybankard Visa Infinite.

In the above said article I touched on how I got a FREE Malaysia Airlines ticket with my Maybankard Visa Infinite, United Airlines Mileage Plus Points and Premier Access, United Airlines’ United Club Lounge access with my Priority Pass Membership Card, using Facetime with Apple gadgets, my son’s guitar collection and posted photos taken in Seattle and San Francisco. And of course my articles would include a message for you to decode, hahaha.

My Malaysia issued credit cards are not accepted by United Airline Online Booking, but that's a blessing in disguise because my son got me cheaper domestic USA tickets and one of them is with United Airlines.

And for you guys who love Starbucks, I visited the first Starbucks Store at Pike Place Seattle. Check out the photos.

Click below link to start reading and you can always bookmark it if you find a headache developing from reading all the text, hahaha.

My USA Trip to Los Angeles, Seattle and San Francisco.
