Hi all,
I have concern about the difference between the insurance provided by credit card and those by air ticket company.
i am actually using Citibank PremierMiles to bought ticket in AirAsia.. do you think i should purchase the insurance from air asia again, or the insurance provided by the credit card is good enough?

QUOTE(Human Nature @ Mar 28 2012, 05:57 PM) Thank you Bro Human Nature Just to compliment what is already written ... an honest advise to frequent travelers 1. Do consider getting an annual travel insurance if you travel often. 2. Often the travel insurance offered by credit card companies or airlines are "lesser" vs if you were to get it directly from the insurance companies. Too many people want to benefit from "YOU" and you'll end up with less. 3. Good things are not cheap AND cheap things are not good. If anyone reading this does not believe me - don't be lazy. Do your own research of travel insurance products from insurance companies / airlines vs. free travel insurance from credit cards.

CIMB Direct Access is special division (since Southern Bank Berhad). Naturally, CIMB will want to focus on strengthen the CIMB brand, rather having 2 divisions....

AmBank has revised their minimum late charge of RM10 instead of RM5 as of Mar 1, 2012. http://www.ambankgroup.com/en/Personal/Car...IslamicBank.pdfWonder if other banks do have the same? They also did not give any grace period. If your due date is Mar 28, they will charge late charges on Mar 29.

Been following the last couple of days/weeks post and I don't understand why people are making such a fuss about banks raising the late payment penalty fees. The fees is only applicable to those who pay their credit card bills late and it'll be especially troubling for habitual late paymasters coz it will hurt them the most - their pockets. To me, the banks can be charging RM1K (or even whatever amount) for late penalty fees but if you always pay on time or paying earlier than the due date then who cares ? Banks will never collect and would not benefit from you! This post has been edited by hye: Apr 3 2012, 10:45 PM

You need to read your term and conditions. Most banks charge a penalty for clearing the installments at one-go.
