hie all experts.... my frens have a problem with the connection. he always dc. in n out.. so i m here to help him out , to gain any advices from u all... thanks 1st here i attached the DSL status of his router. he is using hurricance 9000G i had comapre his DSL parameter with mine.. i found dat his line atten is ok.. but SNR seems like not relly good... izzit i correct? advice me plz.. so how to solve dis prob s well? thank a lot!! SNR Margin seems a bit too low but acceptable.
Line Attenuation is too high.
1) Have you tried your modem at his place? If yes, and the result is the same then
2) Check all splitters and/or filters or try direct connection from the phone socket to the modem.
If still no improvement, then it is time to call "them". I don't think you can do much if you have already done the above and the result is still the same.
Anyone else can advice?

IMO, if it is okay, then just leave it as it is. Calling them may create more problems later.

lol...i been calling the technician over n over again n they came n keep changing the line but my snr n line is still the same too low n too high i even change my internal wiring LoL...well at least it solve one of the problem (wont disconnect when shower time)  Gosh...my taman line here sux big time lol...yesterday my connection in the evening sux like hell...cant even connect from 4 till 8 ...i phone tmnuts , i said i cant connect to the internet n my fault report as well , then i continue said "what can i do?" heeheh... ur case still fine la.... my previous problem.. everyday call them n scold them... continous happened till 1 month .. line din improve.... den i gv up... 1 day the operator called me ...asked me wat they can help... i asked he bek.. "wat he can help?" hah.... on dat day, my line become fine....

Are you having connection problems? If not, then your US/DS Margin look fine. Not sure about Line Attenuation but a lower line attenuation is better.

Renew the cabling from the pole behind ur house, get contractors to done it. Cost around RM100-150, negotiated. Dun rely on TM now, they also dunno how to solve it, coz the line is under Telekom department. Throwing responsibilities is malaysian style. |
