you DS snr = 4.8 ??!!

yeahhhh..weird eh?any idea what is causing this?

I dont have nay dc issues or connection issues wor..

but at the time of this post, a site which i usually ping for latency check was a whooping 2000ms++ usually its 200ms

How about mine? Nowadays I always get disconnected & downstream never reach to 1024kbps. I know my connection sucks... but I want know how deep its sucks.
What I should do?

i get disconnect every 10 seconds. i use a ZTE zxdsl 831 modem provided by tmnet. the thing is normally when i dc the dsl light blinks but now the lan and dsl light goes totally off leaving the power light the only one on. this means my lan connection has problems right?

ive check all the cables and such. device seems fine but nothing works. then i went and right click on the lan connection n select repair but it says error. something to do with ip.

what do i do? is it my computers fault or streamyx?

your problem;

2.cannot get lan ip at all?

nuts streamyx! mine is terrible

I was using Aztech modem 1100R 4 port. I usually connected to internet for months but recently it was struck by lightning and i change to Dlink 504T

Previously my modem cannot read SNR margin and Line attenuetion. But i have read it using other modem it is around 15+-.

After struck by lightning. and with new modem i got SNR around 0 and 1 at most 5. Line attenuetion 63.
The ligthning really serius as burnout with electronic smell and some little white smoke. All Lan adapter in my house dead including a switch. Telefon by telekom also dead.
I have try using new wiring in my house but still same ..

Data Rate around :500 - 800

After shifted from a 20 yr old house which is getting frequent disconnection, & now at new house with a VERY stable Streamyx connection, but it still lags on international link, sick with it..

Hi guys i need help, whenever i playing online games i keep on getting spikes like few second delay and then very smooth again. It keeps doing that too often everyday .I believes this has to do with snr margin or line attenuation problem. What i need to do? Here's my line report

Just 4 info, did you guys check your modem configuration page regarding what speed is your modem sync with tmnet server currently while TMnet is doing their maintenance. Mine is 352 kbps for download and 512 kbps for upload. And I'm on the RM88 package. How about all you guys out there? and I'm getting a very low download (6) upload (10) snr margin. Did u guys encounter the same problem as me. I'm from penang.

Your SNR margin is really low and that would be causing your connection to be sync with the server at "weird" speeds. You should lodge a report to TM and tell them your SNR margin is really low when using TMNet Streamyx.
