if 1 name thn better be good tongue.gif

y proton dun hav any high end car...
last time i tok inspira 90k is suppose to be the high end, nice spec and engine etc,
but somehow ppl tat can afford 90k car, will tend to avoid it,due to copy thing,
proton is not realli tat bad, wide spare part source, low tax,sc everywhere, resale value is not bad...but it juz lack of higher end car...

tis p321a got all de potential to become the high end,
plz dun make the baseline too cheap...put the price higher pls, make it exclusive and higher end,and use the extra money for better QC and nice accessories

proton WON'T produce high end car
cuz there is many alternatives for that
proton's aim is low income and middle income ppl only...less competitor
high end car many alternative like for example if i got money, i would have gone for BMW, merc, toyota camry, volkswagen, high end nissan, porsche, etc etc

ya,but for most of the conti cars,we have to suffer the low resale value...and hard to find spare part etc
and for the toyota n honda, the car is simply overrated, kededut on accessories etc
proton on de other hand, doesnt need to pay import tax... so they can offer much better spec, wif cheaper price,n not bad resale value

if proton can offer a 150k car,wif 3series spec and wif good QC,i personally would go for de proton,
at least i wont need to suffer the low resale value, and hey im still driving an 150k car n im not cant afford a camry laugh.gif

ppl avoid it, doesnt mean it is not high end, lol.

the best bang for buck already, esp after discount.

and, yes, it is a copy, but granted by mitsubishi, like saga/wira la. we called it licensed copy.

er.....why would anyone buy a local car? because it cheap!!!!!! you wan classy? go german or italian.

inb4 trolling starts.

dont ask proton make anything to suit your class/pocket, work harder.

ppl buy conti car because it has power, its fun to drive..it has great handling
proton is trying to copy that
but the thing is conti cars aren't very reliable because of its POWAH
thats why when proton turbocharged the engine, they kinda limit the power to ensure durability and reliability of the engine
handling is great as it got lotus handling
T&H in other hand...they're playing it too safe in the local market
they have competing car..but those car are only for japanese market and US

who produce high end car when most of the mid-rich family wont even put proton into their consider list.

imagine, if the p3-21A is a high end car. let say it is priced between RM110k-120k i think most of the family would choose Toyota Altis/Honda Civic due to QC & reputation issue proton had.

just sayin laugh.gif

If Proton want produce more expensive car, they need to fix their reputation 1st.
Rebuild their reputation, gain trust from customer and after that, they can start thinking about producing expensive car.
If Proton build RM150k car in mass quantity, with their current reputation, it just suicide.

Campro no 2.2l, and no plans for 2.2l. Even the rumoured upcoming Y-family engine will have up to 1.8l only.
