Just to share a bit..
SA submitted loan applications to mbb and pbb....reason, he said to make them competitive a bit..
Submitted on tuesday, mbb approved on the same day. Today, pbb call (interview)..
I told them my status, i told them to only proceed if they can beat mbb rate. Pbb staff said will try their best and get back to me...
So i just hold on rather than accepting mbb 2.6% at the moment....

affin gave lowest... try affin and u will be surprised. my client 5 figures income loan her camry get 2.5 this year

true in submitting to 2 banks lo, at least if one rejected, dun have to wait another few days before subdmmiting another bank

In my case, day 1 MBB approve, day 2 PBB just called...I tell the caller...get below 2.6% or don't bother
Then he said will try his best & get back to me.

But Proton interest is from 2.8% to 3.3% (bank muamalat/Bank rakyat interest depend on amount loan deposit u pay car) Honda(or other import car) 2.2% to 2.8% (bank BSN is lowest but to be bumi if not mistaken la.. and AM bank i get 2.46% for my nissan car but i take 5 year 90% loan)

You still can nego the interest rates upon approved if you are buying new/recond foreign cars. Below are the rates I got from each banks.
HLB - 2.8%
PB - 2.82%
Affin - 2.55%
