Based on the latest NAPIC data, it seems that property transactions in Melaka have not slowed down. In fact, it continued to grow. I have done a simple analysis and more people have been buying properties in Melaka in 3Q 2012.
Total transactions (in Million)
3Q 2011: RM218.54M 2Q 2012: RM293.99M 3Q 2012: RM390.45M
Number of transactions: 3Q 2011: 3155 units 2Q 2012: 3694 units 3Q 2012: 4275 units
Number of transactions above RM250K up to RM500K (residential only) 3Q 2011: 124 units 2Q 2012: 188 units 3Q 2012: 352 units
Number of transactions above RM500K (residential only) 3Q 2011: 26 units 2Q 2012: 43 units 3Q 2012: 52 units
I think Melaka properties have a great potential as some key markets have slowed down significantly in 3Q 2012 notably Penang and Johor. Selangor and KL remained stagnant compared to 2Q 2012.

This is Imperio Mall. Totally different concept. More towards Fashion Mall. Small to Average units.
