QUOTE(jeschong @ Apr 6 2012, 10:30 AM) heard they gonna stop EX production Tks so much ... I think most prob I'll be going for forte 1.6sx but jus worried that it'll have lots of prob (nvr own a Korean car b4). My fren who is a car sales personnel said that this 6 speed model shud be quite good in FC. if so, all the current EX may be old stock Added on April 6, 2012, 10:47 am seems like prius will be ur choice due to good fc n big enuf im not saying the forte FC no good but of coz hybrid will be having the best FC (i suppose la, nv drive a hybrid car b4) wat i read from forum, forte avr fc for city driving is about 10-12L/100KM to me, i need a bigger car for my family. im not a salesperson n only drive to office everyday (about 20min). thus, 'normal fc' will be ok to me. as a conclusion, forte is value for money, suit my requirement n within my budget perhaps u can list down the cars u interested and rate them 1 to 5 1=worst and 5=best for example, FC: hybrid - 5 vios - 4 city - 3 forte - 2 elantra - 1 then follow by space, design, gadget etc. after all these u juz sum up all the rating and u will know which car suit u most For the 5yrs warranty is it means that I must stick w their workshop for servicing or else warranty will be void??? Is their servicing charge expensive?? |

QUOTE(XionCity @ Apr 7 2012, 08:39 PM) nope, due to my lowered spring...nope, get back original... Bro, lowered springs aren't supposed to be used with ori abs, you should be sourcing short throw abs because the shorter spring has compressed the ori abs and cut short its lifespan.Added on April 7, 2012, 8:41 pm If u wan 17'', change to light weight sport rims, for all 4 rims(not include spare), change to mythedology crank pulley, carbon fiber bonnet....done!!! |

QUOTE(HKNP @ Apr 9 2012, 10:14 AM) Ohh sorry..my statement is unclear.Actually i meant this..In order to maintain the warranty, dont exceed the next 1000km after the first 1000km for the first service. In other words, u can send your car for the first service before u reach 2000km in overall mileage. Else, warranty void..In this case, if let say u send your car for the first service at mileage 2100km, the 5 year warranty void already..that was what i was told by the SC personnel last time..But for labour, i'm not so sure. But i believe u still can get free labour for the first 3 services though u already breach the warranty. Added on April 9, 2012, 12:45 pm QUOTE(ahpingko @ Apr 9 2012, 09:11 AM) so cheappp???.. Default engine oil..not sure..sorry. But i used full syn engine oil from the first service until now (50k+ km mileage currently)..i'm lazy to go to SC every 5k km, so opt for fully syn that give me longer service interval (10k km)btw, what is the default oil that comes with forte??...full syn??..meaning i can reach 1500km baru go service? Yupp..u can reach up to 2000km..but better send the car for first service well below 2000km la This post has been edited by izputra: Apr 9 2012, 12:54 PM |

I am using Valvoline VR-1 and it is very good. Do the KIA SC accept oil purchased outside. No right?

I just want to check with you guys. Did anyone of you install Ultra Racing front strut bar, front lower arm, rear anti roll bar, rear lower arm and stiff ring for your forte? Mind to share?
