The pre-order ones are for m-mount which is a redesigned 50mm f0.95 lens. the native e-mount is already available (in us and hk anyways). native e-mount is 1k usd and m-mount is 4.3k usd available is sept.

steve huff mentioned that he loves the m-mount but not the native e-mount version (2 separate testing done)

further to this, there are two versions of m-mount. rf coupled and non-rf coupled. one is 4.3k usd and the other 3k usd.

Bought from Harvey Norman Midvalley for RM2199 with two years warranty but only black body available (NEX-5N - 18-55, 8 GB Sony SD, Sony Original Casing and Screen Protector).

The guy was really friendly and helpful, he'll do the warranty extension online for you. I'd recommend this place highly for its friendliness and service.

Seem like i have bad luck with NEX 7. Being FFK twice by 2 individuals (one body only, another time is kit set).

Today I called Sony Center and the manager answered my phone. I asked her, where's my NEX 7 kit? She asked her staff to check and said got another unit in the storeroom. Told her I put my name for reservation for a month already but no one called for collection. Apparently they overlooked my name. So I went to the store just now and damn, failed for third time. It's actually a display unit. But gosh, those black len with NEX 7 just pure awesomeness.

SGD1999 for kit set plus bag, 16gb MS high speed pro (50MB/s), screen protector and a booklet.

wish u get ur nex7 asap

X-Pro1 lo. D7000. D800. A77.A65, K-X... still have many choices if can't get NEX. Camera is just a tool; if a person has the skills and experience, the pictures will come out nice irregardless of the brand.

Agreed but my priority is size/weight. Those dslr not an option. X-pro 1 being considered but again, size issue.. Else I already grab those 5dmII for the same price of nex7 lol

Still prefer you to teach

I was there around 2.30pm and the staff there told me my unit was the last unit. No more stock. How come u still able to get it from there? And your unit comes with 2 years warranty? I was told only 1 year and I paid the extension warranty for another 2 years for Rm 305. They cheated me?

Normally, the last unit trick is often used by salesman to attract sales.

Default warranty is 1 year + 6 months register online OR 1 year + 2 years addition from sony (If you pay, of course)

Yes. If you opt for the 2 years additional warranty, it should be 3 years and the extra 6 months would be gone. You can only get 1, anyways.

For the 2nd part, please call in to Sony's number and inquire. Sometimes, they might not update their system or not aware. Just make a courtesy call and ask em directly.
