i am soooo angry now !!!!! Join a competition by Sony, prize is Sony F3, judging criteria is based on judges, will have 3 prizes, theme Most Stylish, Most Photogenic, and most creative.

my friend and i took part in it, and we can see the gallery online and we though we will win for sure (at least 1 prize), but we get nothing at all !!!

All image is taken by Sony F3, so its ok to put here tongue.gif

I think the tower is ok to be there. Gives a comparison of size of the tower with the buildings around it.

are you using manual settings?
I do have a question. How to balance aperture and shutter speed?

Sometimes I use manual focus, depends. 2nd question I not sure how to answer you. Haha! More try out then you will know. I never really balancing it, I do on how I feel, sometimes slightly dark / bright does not means is bad.

using aperture priority or shutter priority, you can only control one or the other following the name of the mode. the other value will be determined by the camera's metering for exposure. you can then adjust how 'bright' or how 'dark' the picture is by adjusting the exposure compensation; which is the << -[----0-|---]+ >> bar... negative for darker image, positive for brighter image.

if you're using manual mode, then you will need to know whether your priority is shutter speed or aperture. once you know for example, you want a shallow depth of field, you open up your aperture let's say, to f/3.5, then now, adjust your shutter speed to get the moving bar in << -[----0----]+ >> to zero. that's where the exposure is optimum as 'read' by the camera's metering. from here, adjust to taste. same goes if you want a specific shutter speed, then you adjust the aperture to taste (and probably ISO too if you're maxing out on the aperture)

hope this helps. else, read up on photography's exposure 101 (light trinity - aperture, shutter speed, ISO) on how they affect one another. that will make your photography journey more meaningful.

huh huh!!! Got my iso hotshoe converter!
Tested my Yongnuo YN468 and it fired correctly upto 1/250s!!
But not advisable to mount the big flashgun directly because the weight!

Previously was using the optical trigger but it not workable for outdoor and it must be within line of sight.
So getting the wireless trigger then my off camera flash is finally done!

Is Aputure Trigmaster good? or should I go for Yongnuo YN603?
