thanks for ur remind, i used to be fulltime photographer last few years... work in some models trainning center n agency... under some beauty n slimming center... also take part in wedding shoot...
but since last year, i no more taking job, doing my own business... now just shoot for fun, so thinking of let go my sysytem n get a smaller camera...

My dua sen.... I don't own either and experience with them is via collegues cameras. Usefulness may vary

NEX-5N got:
- Shoots faster @ 10fps vs 5.5fps on the F3.
- Magnesium body vs plastic on F3
- Downwards tilt LCD for overhead shot.... F3's down tilt more limited but it tilts 180degrees for camwh0ring
- IR receiver for remote control and can plug remote cable while F3 don't have both and bulb mode's gonna be painful.

NEX-F3 got:
- Build in flash for fill flashing
- Accessory port supports electronic viewfinder just like 5N but 5N cannot use both fill flash and EVF together... so bright sunny day= not too great.
- Bigger body that's more balanced (weee bit) with the kit 18-55
- Better grip (personal opinion).

The rumours can be found in sonyalpharumors.com but rumor summary are:

- 5N replacement model out soon with Wifi, App support and faster hybrid autofocus.
- there's a NEX-6 coming which is like the diet coke cheaper version of NEX-7.. with lower res but build in electronic viewfinder but with 5N replacement's feature set.
- Full frame NEX that takes both Alpha A-mount and E-mount (dunno how) in crop mode just like FX / DX.

other shop near by, price is cheaper around 200++, with 1 year warranty, free gift 8GB and case only.
So I go for Sony Center, with more free gift and no charge for credit card purchase~

Almost same free gift as me get from photo miami for Nex5N last Dec...The tripod is useless as it cun even hold the camera while little windy blowing...anyhow, it's free, nothing to comment much...

2 years warranty or extend 2 years warranty tenor?

just 2 years warranty, not extend.

I bought it with 2 year extend warranty for my NEX5N last dec, should be good deal for it.

jimmyyap, dont think anyone uses a grip on their NEXes. well, at least i dont, never gave it a thought before as well

On the "NEX-6", do I see a double dial? One as a mode dial, the other larger ring as a normal thumb dial? Wonder how much tilt does the screen has.

What a Nex, I rather invest on lens, as nex 6n, nex f6, nex c6 gonna launch within 2 yrs time...

Lens, wheres the better quality lenses ?

Looks like a double dial there... should be cos the NEX-5R also got that tri-navi-like type of dial.

Don't like power zoom but a 16-50 looks pretty darn useful with that 16 on the wide end... then got UWA coming with the 11-18... and a fast standard.

If this 3 is true and doesn't dissappoint... then m43 jalat jor.

NEX-6 + 35mm f1.8 + 16mm f2.8 for me enough jor.... most most add 50mm f1.8 OSS as optional.
