Anyone using manual focus lens with adapters? I've been thinking trying out M42 lenses with my NEX-3...

Wanna ask if it's worth spending on the more expensive adapters? Or are the cheaper ones fine?

Wah wth ND the effect damn good...Dunno CPL filter can do the same effect bcos thinking of just buy 1 CPL and act as ND too..

If u wan get cheap manual len, there are more resources from Msian ppl over photomalaysia.com
Some ppl suggest u can buy from KEH.com, good condition, good pricing too.

Unfortunately I was unable to buy one. Those selling at RM150 ~ RM160 very fast kena sapu by forumers, and the rest RM200 firm You can check back V1/V2 NEX topic, got people managed to attach but it's a tight fit.
These pics are all very very nice indeed! How I wish I can snap something like this... Me still got lots to learn.

Yes, MF lenses will open up a whole new category for NEX users. I've used quite a few myself before adopting the EA2 adapter and A-mounts. But do remember that Sony is targeting P&S upgraders with the NEX line; most of which are not likely to venture into legacy lenses. It's only us enthusiasts who go for these type of things

Of course, hopefully Sony will remember to cater to us enthusiasts and give us some constant aperture zooms or faster primes!

On the way buying & trying an ancient 70s' Minolta MD Rokkor 50mm F1.4 + NEX adaptor from on forumer here....Any comment on this bokeh lens b4 I commit.

Wait till u get particles that cannot be blown off the sensor.., then u'll know.

Got liao that Minolta MC(MD mount) Rokkor 50mm F1.4...One word WOW  ..1st test let me find a proper lens cover for my SEl1855..most probably wil use the manual lens more that Nex lens after this haha

i was soooooo shock when saw u use a MF 500mm lens ,but thinking a while, i think its just typo

BTW, my Manual Focus antique minolta potrait - 50MM F1.4, macro 50mm F3.5 & Sigma telphoto 70-210 lenses 



Most probably will sell the Sigma len after I play wth it for a week or two haha
