any idea what size of the filter to be used with the kit lens 18-55mm? is 49mm the perfect size?

I have SEL50F18, so far rarely used due to shooting environment (offshore). Everything requires wide angle that make 18mm look tight.

50mm can be considered as mid tele for APSC sensor. 19mm considered as wide angle.
