Is there any special upgrade package for current Astro iptv subscribers?

I really want to upgrade from 6Mbp to the 10 Mbp package and pay RM148 only for the 10 Mbp package!

Which condo bro ? Sometimes only internal infra is done, still waiting for outside main cable to join.

the condo was already in the list, infra inside wasn't done so they had to pull cable from the riser and liaise with the BM.. haha

If the internal infra not yet done, your dealer already asked you to sign the order ?

I heard the Sungai Petani Fibre@Home, JALENAS 1XS and PENANGFON are currently negotiating for TIME to join their ISP list for their open network under closed meeting tables.

Is it true that if the deal gets through, we'll be seeing Time Broadband coming to landed homes?

Hi Bro...I heard this news too some whiles ago....but did not get any updates lately... Penangfon is vry unlikely to join coz u know la... (I don wanna mention)....

Celcom, Maxis all have trialed their 50mbps lines using their own CPE. You can see the latest video posted had Maxis Thompson home gateway unit hooked to their ONT for testing.

The company spokeman got say now negotiating with ASTRO for IPTV services and Time to be added to their ISP list.

Their network is not GPON. It's P2P fibre tech.

Glad to hear that...It's a good news no more monopoly.... Penang is going to have similiar but much much more robust fibre network...

Usually internal infra wil take max 45 days (usually less than that) to complete. The longest wait is the main cable outside your condo.

So you sure outside main cable already joined ?

If not, then it's gonna be another long wait bro...

i'm thrilled that Time is offering a compelling package. Hope they will got area at kota kemuning because a lot of rich people stay there and can generate enormous of income for them.

Currently, As a maxis fibre user. Not really satisfy at all. TIME need to act fast and faster come to my place!

Singapore (M1) and other country like U.S already got a freaking internet speed while this country is still playing catch up.

Penang and Sungai Petani are both my hometown , really hope fibre broadband will be hugely deployed and have good service so that in future i could stay in both places with no hassle in using internet

I had Time fibre intall last wednesday, the speed is exceptionally fast!!

So fast that 6 hours later, it goes down to 0Mbps. Apparently the condo's splitter fibre point was disconnected by another contractor. After calling the helpdesk, they recognize the issue and promise to solve the soonest.

Time engineer even came during awal muharam holiday and rectify it in the morning. Fast internet, clean installation, good service and Time contractor/people are highly skilled and professional.

This is my best internet experience ever.

Kota Kemuning wil take some time I guess...

Lately in Penang we did experience the same problem, eg. Fibre connector got took off & stolen or unplugged, sometimes even worse the cable got cut off...

I guess some ppl starts to get jealous ...lol

Haha... this is the story

1. i check availability online, and bravo, my apartment i'm living in is in the list!
2. i email-ed CS repetitively asking about the Access Point/Riser location and if its ready, all questions diverted to me signing up for a plan and no concrete answer, Yes or No.
3. i contacted a dealer and was signed up very quickly on the 12 October
4. Within a week, an appointment to install was made and i took leave from work as installer don't work after 6pm. (i requested for 8pm)
5. installers came unscheduled (appointment at 2/3pm, came at 1030am due to installer convenience)
6. Time installer said that trunking not ready from riser at level 13. need BM approval (if not ready, don't put in list and tell me in my email, right?)
7. Time took its time with updating me / letting me know what's happening. Promised calls of status updates went unfulfilled. Still, I didn't once complained or hurried them. Just calls to ask what is happening ("we will update you, i'll call you back tomorrow at the latest") pure BS.
8. last 2 weeks, Time said READY!!! (yea on my end)
9. Ask me take another leave, hell no.. I won't waste another leave when suddenly they can say, oh can't come because cable / trunking / whatever that doesn't concern me can't be done
10. i said, come at MY appointed time and date, as mentioned in the website, at the customers' convenience (if its at the installer's convenience, please say so)
11. Apparently, installers all ON LEAVE last week for the whole week.
12. So i said, fine stick to 19/11 (today)
13. Suddenly said, ok last week's 14/11 can.. OMFG, change change change.. said at my request. YES, i requested it earlier because u said at my request ma, then u said the whole TIME installer ALL ON LEAVE. like all the staff on leave? TIME shut down? suddenly got slot want me to change my plans again. i said no, stick to 8pm.
14. time said 8pm my BM don't let because need to do drilling. i ask them drill earlier la then later only come to configure
15. today installer called in the morning said want to come in the morning. i said my appointment with time is 8pm. notwithstanding anything, its 8pm and 8pm only. then Time called said 3pm.. wah... now at whose convenience?

Hey guys, I am using the 8M package.
I realised that the speed is not 50Mb whenever I activate the boost.

Therefore, I tried to connect to network directly from the Huawei modem (without the Linksys wireless router). Surprisingly I can get 50Mbps.

If I connect via the wireless router, I can only get aroud 15Mbps.

Can anyone advice on this issue? Thank you.
