Hi All,

I am an existing YES user and wish to install Time.

Reason is because i got a parttime job from US (follow US time) and requires alot of internet bandwidth. At peak, i can use up 500MB of Yes Quata in a single day (due to VPN and video conference call).

Would like to ask whether following is possible with Time Fibre Broadband:
1) Hows the latency and speed from here to New York and from here to France?
2) Does Time provide an iphone / Android App (like Yes Life) so i can make call from the smart phone? I like this option because i have a decent headset. If not, any other options?

With Time Fibre, Is it free to call 1800 number?

I had Time fibre intall last wednesday, the speed is exceptionally fast!!

So fast that 6 hours later, it goes down to 0Mbps. Apparently the condo's splitter fibre point was disconnected by another contractor. After calling the helpdesk, they recognize the issue and promise to solve the soonest.

Time engineer even came during awal muharam holiday and rectify it in the morning. Fast internet, clean installation, good service and Time contractor/people are highly skilled and professional.

This is my best internet experience ever.

While i was on my way back home, I got a call from the agent who sign me up with Time fiber. He gave me a call around 6pm just now, asking if the internet was fine at my home.

When i reach home and turn on the modem + router, to my surpise, router is "dead" and the modem LOS signal is not blinking.


So i have two problems:
1) Linksys router dead, cannot access 192.168.0.1 with cable (all lights on router are on, and not blinking)
2) No LOS light, means no internet

192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 both also dead. Because ipconfig shows no address given from the router. the router confirm is dead. CS confirm the hardware faulty and engineer is coming today for exchange and further investigation too.

Added on November 20, 2012, 4:38 pmTime engineer came at 2:30pm and replace the E1200 router. Then Problem solve. Just today alone, they need to replace 3 E1200 router. This is just 1 engineer. i wonder how menu E1200 get swap out in a day?

Yes, they replace my E1200. and 2 other place too (which is also cisco router faulty).

Guess what, as of last night, i discover the cisco router given to me is also faulty . This new router given to me, will crash every 3-4 hours. It will still broad cast wifi signal after 3th hours, but cannot connect. at 4th hour, it will crash and no wifi signal, even my PC that connect via Lan also has no IP at all.

I know this is not TIME's fault, but instead, Linksys's fault. They are coming today again to replace the router

Guess i am in luck. this afternoon the engineer came and replace my E1200 to E1000. Up to now it is ok.

Problem is, i am unable to get any signal in my bedroom. But i think i can live with that.

Added on November 22, 2012, 12:31 amToday is my 7th day since it was installed. and i already have 4 Time service form with me.

Form 1) installation.
Form 2) No internet, LOS is blinking. (cable snap at splitter room, some other contractor snap my cable)
Form 3) Router problem (totally dead)
Form 4) Router problem (ok for 3 hours. then it will crash)

But, their service is good and engineer is also skilled and polite. If they say they come, they really come. Much better than unifi and YES.

ps: What YES say to do, 99% they never do
