I'll be buying a TP-Link WR-841ND router for UniFi use. Not familiar with this model at all, other than reading up at klseet.com, so got a few questions.

- Are the ones in the shop UniFi ready?
- If not, which is the latest/best firmware for it?
- Planning to get 2, 1 as a router and the other to extend the wifi using WDS. It supports WDS right?

Hi, I'm using Unifi VIP5, I plan to get a USB Fax Modem as need to send and receive fax from PC. May I knows does my Unifi compatible with it?

I understand that the Fax Modem is using the 56k modem. I'm not sure whether it will work if I just unplug the phone line and plug it on the 56k fax modem.

Hope expert can reply this.

Thanks in advance

I guess it should work. Hard to say because unifi phone line is digital. Conventional FAX machine works on unifi as the machines are designed to decode digital line input. Anyway no harm trying.

Just wondering, using usb FAX device, u can receive FAX? How do u receive? I assume it will store in the PC using a dedicated software n then later u can print out?

There is no problem with the router. I didn't switch off for 90 over days and heavy torrenting and running NAS on it. No issues at all. However I have a stand fan installed to cool all the equipments every 1 hour.
