guys.. i tried to OC harder on my proc just now but fail during stress test.. BSOD and restart.. now, everytime i start up my pc, i stuck at window logo screen like 40-60 seconds before i boot into windows.. anyone can help? using M4...

Go back to stock settings and try again?
Don't think it's an SSD issue. More to do with your overclock.

~35GB give or take. Depending on which version of Win 7 you install and whether or not it is already slipstreamed with SP1.

i'm using 64gb m4 and win. 7 ultimate.. after install all the drivers and some programs, left around 30-35gb.. more than enough if you don plan to install games..

After loading the windows logo, my screen went dark for 4-5 sec before booting into desktop.. I am using SSD and expecting it boot faster.. Is this normal??

suspect it's hardware (sound card, network card, USB stuffs) initialization taking place thus it's normal.
Also, make sure that all hardware drivers are installed otherwise windows will try to search for drivers.

It's Plug and Play for SSD. Recommend best bang for the buck is Crucial 256 GB. make sure you want the 7 or 9.5mm ver.

afaik he said the small piece of metal is inside the SSD. But still, the same thickness of 9.5 or 7mm like other SSDs.

I'd rather go to newegg or amazon to check buyers' reviews, instead of youtube. Damn he got a hit from me sad.gif

I think is my USB Internet Broadband causing the delay because i never unplug it tongue.gif Thanks for ur advice , will try to unplug and see what happen..
