No "OC fail warning" during POST doesn't mean that you've successfully get a stable OC.

Yeah may be thats the reason, i got a folder that is full of high resolution scans, 14GB, if i moved this folder my total windows 7 partition size still as large as 35GB.
Prolly bout time to re-install OS lol sweat.gif

Are you using iTunes with an iPhone/iPad back up? Because usually that pesky mobilesync takes up alot of space without you knowing too.
I once cleared the back up and it was 12GB in size, very surprised. sweat.gif

I can say, the SSD seems getting cheaper. I bought Kingston 240GB @ RM 1500 last year, now the price is RM 400 cheaper.

sad.gif Need some help here:
I took the advice to switch from IDE mode to AHCI mode since im using Vertex 2 (its been a year now only i know AHCI is recommended for SSD setup)
But then my windows wouldnt boot up cry.gif Its keeps looping during the window logo there !!
I think i did all the necessary step in my BIOS to enable AHCI mode. SO what could b wrong?. Im back now in IDE mode..

Do this when you are in IDE mode:

1) Open Run command ( type regedit)
2) Navigate to Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Msahci
3) Set the "Start" value to 0 (zero)
4) Navigate to Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Pciide
5) Set the "Start" value to 0 (zero)
6) Shut down
7) Start up again, but before Windows boots go into the BIOS configuration screens and change the disk mode to "AHCI". Save the new BIOS configuration and restart so that Windows boots.

Generally speaking, they are more expensive because of the exchange rate. However if they are best buys/clearance, than maybe it's a different story. You will need to calculate and compare yourself.

Thanks stasio.
I googled and found out the possible problem/solution. It seems that during my first time installation of windows, i must set it at AHCI mode.
No wonder , coz i think when i install my windows its was in IDE mode. But i will also try ur solution first.. THNKSsss

New Crucial SSD packaging. Very thin, as thin as the SSD itself. Now made in China. No wonder Crucial prices are so cheap now. sweat.gif
