Err, guys. I have some problems with my double bassing >.<
I think it's my consistency. Sometimes when I get behind my kit I can straight away play songs with double bass without missing a beat. Perfect. But then towards the end of my practice, somehow I will lose it. I won' be able to hit the notes in time. Other times on the other hand, I wouldn't be able to play nicely when I start out. But towards the end, I can suddenly play without missing a beat. What's the problem? >.< |

Haven't been really touching my drums lately, I could that I am getting rustier Oh guys btw, what drums skins do you recommend? I play mostly rock, blues, progressive and some metal. Mix in between. Planning to get it changed by next month |

QUOTE(OH- @ Oct 20 2012, 02:18 PM) Err, guys. I have some problems with my double bassing >.< The only way to work on consistency is practice. I think it was the Shadows Fall drummer who said something like, its better to have a good 30 minute session than an OKAY 3 hour session. So, if you're on an off day, its fine if you take a break. With your problems at the beginning, that's why warming up is necessary. With the ones at the end, you'll need to work on stamina. I think it's my consistency. QUOTE(Ulysses @ Oct 18 2012, 06:57 AM) how beginner is ur 'beginner'? mybe u want to try 'no more sorrow' frm linkin park... quite a good song & helps tighten ur tempo. Erm...took the class for 3 months now, previously learning the drum in another studio for about 1 year. Tempo is pretty consistent, except some mistakes when trying out slow tempo on metronome. And my left hand is no good Will look out for the song and practice ^^ Thanks. |

And probably working on 4-way independence (or inter-dependence depending on how you look at it) would help with your weak limbs. |
