Gibraltar is one of the most value-for-money pedals, no frills though. For the price, its one of the best. However, if you can afford higher -end professional options, go for them. The Gibraltars are very durable, though.

i just need a good quality double pedal, perhaps gibraltar

I'd recommend you to get a set, just in case. You never know what freak accidents might happen in the studio (: You don't have to get Axis longboards or Demon Drives, a set of regular Gibraltar kicks should do the job just fine. Its relatively cheap, and very durable too. You're not losing anything if you get it, so why not?
