Err, guys. I have some problems with my double bassing >.< I think it's my consistency. Sometimes when I get behind my kit I can straight away play songs with double bass without missing a beat. Perfect. But then towards the end of my practice, somehow I will lose it. I won' be able to hit the notes in time. Other times on the other hand, I wouldn't be able to play nicely when I start out. But towards the end, I can suddenly play without missing a beat. What's the problem? >.<

Today I feel regret. After 5 years of playing drums, I never tried to consistently play and practice with a metronome. And today I realize my timing sucks so bad

QUOTE(isaacmiranda7 @ Mar 7 2013, 06:28 PM) The Kyre snare, with the specs I told you about, cost just over RM1k. Now I'm seriously thinking about adding some exotic wood finishes. HAHAHA. I just realised it last year. HAHA. Sucks, and in a few days time I'm gonna leave my kit for 4 years QUOTE(Subber @ Mar 7 2013, 08:47 PM) It's an important learning tool. I never practice rudiments w/o a metronome. Another thing which I took so lightly and never tried to master

QUOTE(isaacmiranda7 @ Mar 7 2013, 10:27 PM) Or, you could buy the sticks there. HAHA. Where in the US? What are you pursuing? I might be headed there too, next year. Savannah College of Art and Design, Atlanta. Degree in Visual effects Just because it's an art college, I hope I can still find musician to play with there. After all, music is part of arts too What's your plan there?
