Sup drummers Wanna get some opinions on drumsets. I am planning to get a new drum set. Budjet around 3-4K with throne and cymbals.

Been eying on the Ludwig Epic Series for quite sometime now but not so sure if Bentley have them. Also looking on the Tama Silverstar and Pearl Vision.

It would be great if you guys could help me around. I don't want quite a beginner set. Would be great if can get 6pc like the Ludwig Epic.

I wanted to get from him that earlier but then he decided not to sell it, so I am not sure about now though

Just called Bentley music, he is giving me Ludwig epic for rm4800 around there. The good thing about this drum is that birch and maple woods are used. Price wise should be okay I guess.

Pdp eh? I don't think so la. Cause of self preference I guess I don't want something which I am not familiar with.

How's the condition all? Hmm price seems good. May I ask though what cymbals are you throwing in? I don't mind the snare cause I am eying on the Joey's snare

So I've decided to get my stuff from Bentley. Ludwig Epic and the ZHT Cymbals for around RM4700.

Nah, I want everything including the standard snare I've tested the ZHT cymbals before and I felt that it is okay for the price which Bentley is giving a 50% off.

Apart from the ZHT, I can't think of anything within the price range. Prefer Zildjian cymbals

The reason why is because the xs2 are off my budget. Besides, I am more towards a zildjian fan rather than sabian. Bentley is throwing in 50% off for zhts and that's a good deal for me IMO.

Seems like Bentley fcuked me up. Yesterday I called and confirm they said that they are offering me the ZHT pro. Just now I call and ask about some other stuff and to confirm my kit, they said they are giving me the zxt rock set.

I was like whuutt. Broke my heart man. But they said to give me the ZHT pro including the kit for a slight higher price. Dissapointed for that. But I guess even with the zxt rock set, it seems A pretty good deal.

SO guys. I went to bentley today to get the Ludwig. But guess what? After playing the Tama Superstar hyper-drive, I feel in love with the sound. So i bought the Tama Kit with Zildjian ZHT Pro .

Guys do you know how to repair an inverted crash cymbal?

Thanks It sounds real good, very "punchy" and responsive I would say. I am using the original heads which came with the drums. No plans to get them changed yet.
